These are two old-worldy names for that my best friend and i simply adore, but today I thought that perhaps they are too matchy? They both start with Ha-, perhaps that is a bit much? I’d love to know what you guys think.
I like both names separately but I think they might be too close to be used together. My general idea is, if you have to ask if they’re too close, they’re probably too close. I don’t have twins (or kids) but my idea with twin names is to name two individuals, not two halves of one unit. If you wouldn’t name consecutive singletons the same name you have picked out for twins, then that would give me reservation. Maybe it was just popular in the 80s for twins to get rhyming names, who knows.
For twins I think they’re a bit too close but for sisters they would work.
Speaking as a twin: definitely too close, sorry. It’s a shame as I love both names!
