Nowhere close to having children, but I was just wanting to get some opinions on this sibset idea:
What do you Berries think of [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Ramona[/name], and Eponine? [name]How[/name] would you describe each name individually? What kind of person would you picture with that name? [name]Do[/name] they go well together? Also, [name]Ramona[/name] would likely be nn [name]Mona[/name] and Eponine would have the nn [name]Eppie[/name].

Honestly, I feel like Eponine really sticks out. [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Ramona[/name] I feel are what I call ‘dusty classics’ but are starting to come back into larger popularity. But Eponine is pretty much pure fandom for me. I think [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Ramona[/name] have a ‘good girl’ vibe to me. Eponine I can only see [name]Les[/name] Mis in my head.
I don’t think the three go together very well. [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Ramona[/name]- like @neuilly said- are dusty classics, so they go together fine. But Eponine sticks out like a sore thumb. It’s very tied to [name]Les[/name] Mis, and the nickname [name]Eppie[/name] makes me think of the eppie pen used when someone has an allergic reaction.
So yes to [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Ramona[/name], but no to Eponine.

[name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Ramona[/name] are great. They go together really nicely, actually. Quirky, a bit vintage, not unknown. Eponine doesn’t work for me here. It screams [name]Les[/name] Mis fan girl to me too. [name]How[/name] about [name]Emmeline[/name]? I think that’d work much better with [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Ramona[/name].
Thanks for all the replies so far! I’m glad everyone thinks [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Ramona[/name] go well together! I hadn’t considered putting them together until yesterday and I’m really liking it. I’m not sure about the Eponine part of the sib-set. What I really want is the nn [name]Eppie[/name], but I don’t think it is professional enough to put on a birth certificate. [name]Eppie[/name] is a pretty intuitive nn for Eponine and I love [name]Les[/name] Miz, so it seems like a logical choice in some ways. Any other ideas for a name with the nn [name]Eppie[/name]?
Nameberry lists [name]Eppie[/name] as a possible nickname for [name]Euphemia[/name], but that feels like a whole lotta name for one person.
