I ran across this name for the first time today on a mommy message board I read. I’m assuming it’s pronounced like [name]Paisley[/name] but with an “H” I was just kind of intrigued. [name]Hazel[/name] has always been my favorite name for a girl. I’m not sure I would change it to Hazlie, but do you think Hazlie/Hazley could work as a nickname for [name]Hazel[/name]? I’ve never liked Hazy, it sound like you’re calling the poor girl absentminded or something.
I think it could be a really cute nn for [name]Hazel[/name], but like you said I don’t know if it could work as a given name
I’d stick w/[name]Hazel[/name]. If you’re second guessing on how to pronounce it, that’s a red flag: Has-[name]Lee[/name]? [name]Haze[/name]-[name]Lee[/name]?
Good point…I hate names that can cause pronounciation issues. I think I’ll just still with [name]Hazel[/name]. Now if I can only figure out a middle name…
Here are a few middle names to consider with [name]Hazel[/name]:
[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]
[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Paloma[/name]
[name]Just[/name] be be careful that the initials don’t spell something like HEX, [name]HAM[/name], etc. I’d steer clear of other color names (no [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Gray[/name], etc.) since it’ll sound more like a paint combo. Best of luck!
