My vote goes to [name]Anders[/name]. [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Griffin[/name] both feel plain next to [name]Heidi[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name]. I would expect something distinctly European like [name]Anders[/name].
I like [name]Anders[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] the most. It’s been in the back for your mind for several months now, and you listed it first on this list. I think that means something.
Did you want something Scandi for the middles for the other two? [name]How[/name] about [name]Henry[/name] [name]Axel[/name] or [name]Griffin[/name] [name]Kai[/name] (which is a Danish name, in addition to a completely unrelated Hawaiian one).
Surprisingly, [name]Anders[/name] is my least favorite of the three. My husband has liked it a lot for several months, so it’s been kept on our list and it’s grown on me a bit. However, I fear the nickname [name]Andy[/name] so much that I’ve become really wary of using it. At the same time, I do like that it’s Scandinavian and it gives each child their own unique first letter.
I like anders with the siblings names as well. [name]Luca[/name] is a good middle with it.
I don’t think [name]Anders[/name] would get the nn [name]Andy[/name], especially if you introduce him as [name]Anders[/name].
I voted [name]Griffin[/name]. [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Heidi[/name] are so similar that [name]Rhys[/name] feels like the odd one out. I love [name]Anders[/name], and I like that you have a solid combo there, but if you’re in the US he will almost certainly get the nickname [name]Andy[/name], and it sounds like that’s a deal-breaker for you. [name]Griffin[/name] is my personal favorite, so I’m glad that it’s the logical choice It’s such a warm, noble name.
As much as I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Henry[/name], I think that [name]Anders[/name] works best with your other two. ([name]Henry[/name] and [name]Heidi[/name] is too much and [name]Griffin[/name] sounds a little bit trendy in comparison to [name]Heidi[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name]).
I think [name]Anders[/name] commands respect a little more than [name]Andrew[/name] and I would never intuitively call an [name]Anders[/name] “[name]Andy[/name].” I chose [name]Anders[/name] because while I love [name]Henry[/name], that name is blowing up. It’s shooting up the charts and I would recommend NOT being that person who ends up telling the story, “we gave all our kids unusual names. We named [name]Henry[/name] right before it blew up” because a lot of people will tell that story. I know a lot of Caitlins with that story. [name]Anders[/name], on the other hand, is so handsome, so sweet, so down to earth, but exotic. It’s a winner.
Here’s a vote for [name]Anders[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]. Very nice!!
Is [name]Griffin[/name] considered trendy? Oh, man. I thought I had avoided those. Is it because of it’s last-name-as-a-first-name status?
[name]Anders[/name]. It’s handsome and special. And it looks nice with [name]Heidi[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name].
I voted for [name]Henry[/name] before I read that you have a [name]Heidi[/name]. They are a bit too similar for siblings for my liking so I change my vote to [name]Griffin[/name]. It’s more common now than it used to be but I don’t think I would necessarily categorise it as trendy.
I voted before I read your second post.
If you don’t really love [name]Anders[/name] and you hate [name]Andy[/name] then I’d steer clear.
And I think [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Heidi[/name] are a bit too close.
I vote for [name]Griffin[/name]. It goes well with your set and I love the nn [name]Fin[/name]. [name]Griffin[/name] [name]Luca[/name] is very nice together.
Same here, expect I’d change my vote to [name]Anders[/name]. I really like it with [name]Heidi[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name].
I voted for [name]Griffin[/name], but it was a close match with [name]Henry[/name]. [name]Anders[/name] is also handsome. You can’t go wrong with any of them. [name]Griffin[/name] won for me because I like the mythical connection with the beast.
An official vote for [name]Griffin[/name]. It’s a handsome name, goes well with your other children’s names yet is distinct (unlike [name]Henry[/name], too close to [name]Heidi[/name]), stands out yet not to much. I like it better than [name]Anders[/name] which feels quite Old World to me.
[name]Anders[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] is a fantastic combo and goes really well with [name]Heidi[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name]. [name]Henry[/name] is not unique enough to fit with your other children’s names. This is coming from someone who is borderline obsessed with the name [name]Henry[/name]!
That’s my impression of the name, but I may be wrong. For what it’s worth, I think it works perfectly well with [name]Heidi[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name], I just happen to prefer [name]Anders[/name].
I’m still in love with [name]Anders[/name]! [name]Griffin[/name] would be my next choice.
