Heath or Truman

Hello. This is my first time on a nameberry or even a forum for that matter. Please give your input on these two names [name]HEATH[/name] and [name]TRUMAN[/name]. My husband prefers [name]Heath[/name], but I like the meaning of [name]Truman[/name]. Our other two children are [name]Blake[/name] and [name]Grant[/name]. Which name should we choose for our third son.

I love [name]Grant[/name]! Out of the two I prefer [name]Heath[/name]. What about [name]Tru[/name]?

I would not use [name]Tru[/name] as a full name. Thanks for the compliment on [name]Grant[/name]'s name. Find a 3rd boy name is hard for us.

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Heath[/name]! It definitely gets my vote.

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Heath[/name]. and think it goes very well with the sibset

[name]Heath[/name] feels manly and strong while [name]Truman[/name] feels a little softer but still strong (I think of [name]Truman[/name] Capote)

I prefer [name]Truman[/name] nn [name]Tru[/name] personally.

[name]Heath[/name] goes better with your other boys names (simply because it’s short like theirs) but if you end up shortening [name]Truman[/name] to [name]Tru[/name] it’s short and fits too.

[name]Blake[/name], [name]Grant[/name], and [name]Heath[/name] make a great trio! [name]Heath[/name] and [name]Truman[/name] would both be great choices, but I like [name]Heath[/name] the best with your boys’ names.

I like them both, but with your other children’s names I would choose [name]Heath[/name].

Edited for privacy.

I’m going to have to go against the tide here and choose [name]Truman[/name]. To me, the association with [name]Heath[/name] Ledger is a sad one for that name, whereas all the associations, including the meaning, to [name]Truman[/name] are much more positive.

I can understand why people feel that [name]Heath[/name] is a better match with [name]Blake[/name] and [name]Grant[/name] – it’s more similar a name to the other two – but to me that’s another argument in [name]Truman[/name]'s favor. I believe [name]Truman[/name] is compatible but expands the feeling of the sibset. And yes, if you like, you get the great one syllable nickname [name]Tru[/name].

I’d pick [name]Heath[/name], have always liked it even before it became popular.

I think both are great names! [name]Heath[/name] gets my vote though. It just completes your set. Cant go wrong with [name]Truman[/name] though.

[name]Truman[/name] gets my vote - I love the [name]Tru[/name] nn and think [name]Truman[/name] would go nicely with your other boys.
