Hebrew Girl Names

My husband and I have decided that our daughter’s first name will be Hebrew (because we are both part-Israeli) and the middle name will be [name_f]Grace[/name_f], after my first name ([name_f]Gracelyn[/name_f]). We’re tossing up between [name_u]Tali[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Rivka[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Side note: The baby’s due next week, excited and nervous at the same time!

I love [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] and would love to see it used more often.

Congratulations!
I really adore [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] as well. [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is an amazing combination! However, don’t completely rely on us berries for the final decision. What you name your baby may come down to whether she looks like a [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] or not. Go with your gut!

I agree that [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is PERFECT and [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] has a FABULOUS Meaning, look and sound! I also [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Tali[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] which sounds sweet, cheerful and cheeky! All the VERY BEST with the arrival of your precious [name_m]Little[/name_m] One!

[name_f]Ziva[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]!

[name_f]Ziva[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is stunning! I also really love [name_f]Rivka[/name_f].

[name_f]Ziva[/name_f] is gorgeous!

There are so many Hebrew names I adore, some favourites off the top of my head are;
[name_f]Ahava[/name_f]
[name_f]Hadassah[/name_f]
[name_m]Yarden[/name_m]
[name_f]Tova[/name_f]
[name_f]Dalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Shoshanna[/name_f]
Ayalet
[name_f]Aviva[/name_f]
[name_f]Kelila[/name_f] / [name_f]Khalila[/name_f]
[name_f]Tova[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliora[/name_f]
Livna (I’m always astounded this isn’t more well known with [name_f]Liv[/name_f]/[name_f]Livia[/name_f] being so trendy)

I’m on team [name_u]Tali[/name_u] (although I’m afraid people would say [name_u]Tali[/name_u] and [name_u]Tally[/name_u] the same, and I’ve heard that they’re not. I still love [name_u]Tal[/name_u]- names in general, though, and [name_u]Tali[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is adorable!), but I like [name_f]Rivka[/name_f] a lot, too. I want to like [name_f]Ziva[/name_f]–I love zippy “Z” names and I adore [name_f]Eva[/name_f]–but I can’t seem to detach it from [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] [name_m]David[/name_m] of NCIS fame.

I love [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]'s suggestions, though–I agree that [name_f]Ahava[/name_f], [name_f]Hadassah[/name_f], [name_f]Shoshana[/name_f], [name_f]Ayelet[/name_f], [name_f]Eliora[/name_f], and Livna are fantastic. I would also add [name_f]Adara[/name_f], [name_f]Adaya[/name_f], [name_f]Adira[/name_f] (I think this one’s Hebrew, anyway!), Eliava, [name_f]Livana[/name_f], and [name_f]Noa[/name_f].

Good luck!
