I always thought of [name]Heidi[/name] as kind of a dated 30-year old woman name (just because my mom worked with a [name]Heidi[/name], haha), but recently I’ve met at least three [name]Heidi[/name]'s under the age of 5 as well as a teenaged [name]Heidi[/name] and I’m really liking it on a little girl! I think it’s cute but ages pretty well. I’ve never read the book or movie either, but that seems to be the common reaction to it. What do you think of it? I’m also stuck on middle name ideas.
I think [name]Heidi[/name] is cute, I don’t think I would personally use it though.
I don’t really like it—it makes me think of, well, [name]Heidi[/name]. As in, I’m-a-cute-little-girl-and-I-live-in-the-Alps.
I know someone who named their young daughter [name]Heidi[/name] (she’s three). I also went to school with a [name]Heidi[/name] (in the mid-90s). She actually copped a bit of teasing for her name. I’m not really sure why. I think it’s quite a nice name!
I love [name]Heidi[/name]! I have met several and the name fit them all well and I didn’t think it was weird at all. I think it’s adorable and ages well too. I like [name]Heidi[/name] [name]Madeline[/name] or [name]Heidi[/name] [name]Vivian[/name].
My cousin 15 month old is named [name]Heidi[/name] and she is the absolute CUTEST kid I’ve ever come across in my life. She is SO adorable, and very happy. I used to think of [name]Heidi[/name] as the [name]Heidi[/name] from the book, but I’ve definitely changed my view now.
[name]Heidi[/name] is getting a lot of love where I live, and I can see why: its pretty, light and so nice!
I really like the name! As far as middle names go:
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Annabel[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Patience[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Rosamund[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name] [name]Karenna[/name]
