Helena? Gemma? Aurelia?

I like all these names and I cannot decide which I like best! Not to mention, I am having the hardest time with middle names! I need everyones help! Thank you!
PS I’m new on this site

[name]Hi[/name], [name]Lainy[/name]! [name]Welcome[/name]!

[name]Helena[/name]: I love [name]Helena[/name] so much, as well as the [name]Nell[/name], [name]Ellie[/name], and [name]Lena[/name] nicknames.

[name]Helena[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Frances[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]May[/name]/[name]Mae[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Simone[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Violet[/name]

If you’re using the heh-[name]LAY[/name]-nuh pronunciation, I can also see [name]Helena[/name] [name]Camille[/name]. I personally pronounce [name]Helena[/name] as [name]Helen[/name]-uh, but I’ve also heard it pronounced heh-[name]LAY[/name]-nuh and Heh-[name]LEE[/name]-nuh, so pronunciation may be an issue. (I still love it though.)

[name]Gemma[/name]: I think this is very pretty, too, but lately I’ve been wondering if it has the potential to become super popular/trendy like [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Jenna[/name].

[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name]

[name]Aurelia[/name]: I think [name]Aurelia[/name] is a wonderful name…

[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name]

In case none of these names are THE name for you, you may also like:

[name]Genevieve[/name] (nn [name]Evie[/name])

Names that remind me of [name]Gemma[/name]:

[name]Isla[/name] (eye-la)

From your list, I’ll vote for [name]Helena[/name], but I really do love all three names.

Good luck!

It’s between [name]Helena[/name] or [name]Gemma[/name] for me. (: I think [name]Helena[/name], though.

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Aurelia[/name]! I also really like [name]Helena[/name], and [name]Gemma[/name] is pretty too!

[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name]

[name]Helena[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Camille[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]

[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Frances[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Elodie[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Penelope[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Cosette[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name] [name]Estelle[/name]

Heh - lay - nuh is how I prefer it pronounced, though I do like it the other way. I love the nn [name]Leni[/name] or [name]Lena[/name].
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is beautiful! I do like [name]Helena[/name] [name]Camille[/name]
I was also worried about [name]Gemma[/name] becoming trendy and popular, it’s such a beautiful name.
I love [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] and calling her [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Kate[/name]!
[name]Aurelia[/name] is a name I just [name]LOVE[/name], I am worried about misprn though. This is the hardest one for middle names imo.
As for the other names you suggested, I love [name]Genevieve[/name] nn [name]Evie[/name]! I’ve considered this name before.
[name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Isla[/name] are more of my favorites. [name]Mirabelle[/name] or just [name]Mira[/name], [name]LOVE[/name] IT!
I like too many names!

I like [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Pearl[/name], and [name]Genevieve[/name].

Everyone is so helpful on this site! I have gotten so much help/feedback already, it’s amazing.
I’m leaning towards [name]Helena[/name] or [name]Aurelia[/name] right now. I think [name]Gemma[/name] will become too trendy, which I want to avoid.
Also, I think I want a name with 3 syllables. My first name is LaRaina and DH name is [name]Benjamin[/name], all 3 syl.
Thanks for all the help so far!!

[name]Helena[/name] all the way!!!
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Maren[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Isobel[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Lauren[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Zoe[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Jocelyn[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Anais[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Renee[/name]

I think the heh-[name]LAY[/name]-nuh pronunciation is beautiful, and [name]Helena[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] and [name]Helena[/name] [name]Camille[/name] are my favorites, too. I’m happy you found some combos and names you like!

I love your list!

Take care!

I like [name]Aurelia[/name] the best out of yers
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Mallory[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Skye[/name]

[name]Aurelia[/name] is so beautiful and elegant. It’s my top favorite middle name for my favorite name ([name]Margaret[/name] [name]Aurelia[/name]). Since you were having trouble finding a middle name you like I think I’ll suggest a couple things:

[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Clare[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Amity[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Verity[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Carys[/name] (karr-iss)
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] (I couldn’t resist)
[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Edith[/name]/[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Eden[/name]

Thank you [name]Christy[/name]! I like [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Carys[/name]! This naming thing is difficult!
What do you all think of [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Crimson[/name] or [name]Helena[/name] [name]Crimson[/name]?
It’s part of a song title that has special meaning to me. I love it but I think others will think it’s silly.
Thanks for all the help so far!

[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Crimson[/name] is great!

[name]Aurelia[/name] is a bit like [name]Aurora[/name], which is Italian for “dawn”.
Since [name]Crimson[/name] is “red”, that would make her a red dawn, sweet.

Btw: the French [name]Aurelie[/name] (pronounced O-reh-lee) would be great, too!

[name]Welcome[/name] to the family! (the nameberry fam)…

I agree with everyone else who loves Helana! As for middle names, if theres a family name or someone you’d like to honr that would work… or-

Helana [name]Grace[/name]
Helana [name]Caroline[/name]
Helana [name]Rhea[/name]

best of luck!

please help me-
babies a week old… and no name

[name]Helena[/name] [name]Camille[/name]…I’m in love!

(Isn’t [name]Jill[/name] amazing!?)

Thank you! I never would have thought about “red dawn” thing, that is pretty!

I love them all! [name]Helena[/name] is technically made up by [name]Shakespeare[/name], but its so much of a modern classic that it doesn’t really matter anymore. I do prefer the classic [name]Helen[/name] though. [name]Gemma[/name] is lovely, it was a popular name in the 80s in the UK along with [name]Emma[/name], [name]Laura[/name], and [name]Claire[/name], but I can’t imagine [name]Gemma[/name] on a 20-something. [name]Aurelia[/name] is so [name]Roman[/name] and so pretty. I love it.

I’m loving [name]Helena[/name] although I do prefer the [name]Helen[/name]-ah pron. It’s so classic but underused and elegant! [name]Helena[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]/[name]Kate[/name] is lovely.

[name]Crimson[/name] is a bit hard sounding next to [name]Helena[/name].

[name]Helena[/name] [name]Aurelia[/name] actually sounds nice, although I’m not usually a fan of the repeating -a endings. Or in that vein how about [name]Helena[/name] [name]Aurore[/name], [name]Helena[/name] [name]Aurelie[/name], [name]Helena[/name] [name]Amelie[/name], [name]Helena[/name] [name]Giselle[/name] (reminds me of [name]Gemma[/name]).

Good luck!

I love [name]Helena[/name]! I would have strongly considered using it if my husband liked it at all! I think it is elegant and carries with it a sense of depth and character.

I also [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Aurelia[/name], but favor [name]Helena[/name]. A lesser (but valid) concern with this name is pronunciation. For those people who are not name addicts or fans of [name]Love[/name] Actually, it can be a very difficult name to pronounce correctly. I live in the [name]Pacific[/name] Northwest in the US, and recently heard someone pronounce it Or-all-ya. It made me cringe! :frowning:
