Um, I’m afraid I’m no help. haha. [name]Helena[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] are both two of my favorite names! Maybe combine them and use [name]Helena[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] one day. I guess my vote would go for [name]Charlotte[/name]–which is already on my short list. I love [name]Helena[/name], and it would be on my short list, too, except I have an enduring love for the similar [name]Eleni[/name], and I just could not use both.

I prefer [name]Helena[/name] in general over [name]Charlotte[/name]. I know that [name]Charlotte[/name] is pretty, but I can’t get past the rhymes-with-harlot thing, plus I don’t like the nns [name]Charlie[/name] or [name]Lottie[/name]. [name]Helena[/name] is lovely and makes me think of [name]Shakespeare[/name].

I love both names but I think [name]Helena[/name] is prettier in sound!

[name]Helena[/name] is pretty, sounds fresh, and almost slightly exotic. [name]Charlotte[/name] is old and boring and not very pretty at all.

[name]Charlotte[/name] is my favourite of the two.

I voted [name]Charlotte[/name] but they are both simply stunning. I think [name]Helena[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] would be a wonderful combo

They’re both lovely, but [name]Charlotte[/name] is advancing in popularity so quickly that I think [name]Helena[/name] is likely to remain fresher-sounding for longer. [name]Helena[/name]'s on my own shortlist for a girl, that’s how much I like it

[name]Both[/name] are goregous, but I think [name]Helena[/name] has [name]Charlotte[/name] beat. I like it a more then [name]Charlotte[/name] (it’s starting to become pretty popular.) I’d like to secon previous posters who’ve said that [name]Helena[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is a great combo.

I go with [name]Helena[/name]. I love [name]Charlotte[/name], but [name]Helena[/name] sounds fresher. [name]Both[/name] are beautiful though.

I definitely prefer [name]Charlotte[/name] with a Swedish pronunciation rather than English, but I still like [name]Helena[/name] the most.

I’ve loved the name [name]Helena[/name] forever! It’s beautiful. I don’t get [name]Charlotte[/name] at all, not my thing.

[name]Charlotte[/name]'s never been my style. It’s like [name]Emma[/name] or [name]Julia[/name] to me. Classic, sweet name, but it does nothing for me. [name]Helena[/name], on the other hand, I absolutely adore.

[name]Helena[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] are both in my top ten, [name]Helena[/name] being at the top. So I’m going with [name]Helena[/name] [name]Both[/name] are completely gorgeous though.

Hard choice, I love them both! But I voted for [name]Helena[/name] because it is less common and feels more special and exotic. I agree with the PPs that say [name]Helena[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] would be a stunning combo! Well, if you and your sister both like both names, it works all the better as one of you can use [name]Charlotte[/name] and the other [name]Helena[/name]!

i seem to be against the trend of this thread - but i actually am not a fan of [name]Helena[/name] but do like [name]Charlotte[/name]!

[name]Helena[/name] by far!

My husband and I were torn between [name]Helena[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] for our daughter. But our dog is already named “[name]Lotta[/name]” which is the Swedish nickname for [name]Charlotte[/name], so [name]Helena[/name] she is. And we’ve gotten tons of compliments on her name.

[name]Helena[/name] is timeless, versatile, and powerful. [name]Charlotte[/name] to me feels a bit narrower- still a wonderful name, just tied to an image of a particular sort of person for me. I think of [name]Charlotte[/name] as being feminine, elegant, old-fashioned, and a bit whimsical. [name]Helena[/name] could be anything, and therein lies her power.
