Hello Nameberries! Please help me choose a middle name/combo

So i finally have the girls name narrowed to 4 choices: [name]Phoebe[/name], [name]Kendall[/name], [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Daisy[/name]. For [name]Daisy[/name], i like pearl as a middle name, but i am not too keen using it as a mn for the other three choices. I have a few combos that i’m not a hundred percent on yet. So far i have:
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Theodora[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Tabitha[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Rose[/name]

[name]Kendall[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Kendall[/name] [name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Kendall[/name] [name]Avery[/name]

[name]Piper[/name] [name]Annabel[/name]
[name]Piper[/name] [name]Athena[/name]

[name]Piper[/name], at the moment, seems to be my top choice

Thanks for any help and advice you can give

[name]Phoebe[/name] - I love the name [name]Phoebe[/name]. I think it’s a delightful pick.
[name]Kendall[/name] - I like the sound (which probably puts me in NB minority), but I do think this is way more masculine than most of your taste. [name]Even[/name] though most Kendalls probably are girls, and even though [name]Piper[/name] is technically uni, I think [name]Piper[/name] is so much more familiar as a girls’ name, and then you like the clearly feminine [name]Phoebe[/name] and [name]Daisy[/name], that I’d advise you let this go / put it in the middle spot. It doesn’t seem true to your taste. [name]Phoebe[/name], [name]Piper[/name], and [name]Daisy[/name] are also all light/fun names (though I think they can work into adulthood), whereas [name]Kendall[/name] has a more serious, professional tone. Again I don’t dislike that, but I think it’s not your style. I wonder if [name]Delaney[/name], [name]Kendra[/name], [name]Campbell[/name], or [name]Kirby[/name], which has some sound/feel overlap but seem more in keeping with your taste, are to your liking?
[name]Piper[/name] - This is a fun sweet name. If you are worried about your boys’ names surging in popularity, though, I would watch this one too.
[name]Daisy[/name] - I like it, and I like [name]Pearl[/name], but I wonder if [name]Daisy[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is a lot of word? It certainly seems that way to me. You are considering some clunkier middles for other names - love it, and so I wonder if [name]Daisy[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] or [name]Daisy[/name] [name]Margo/name would earn your consideration? The meaning of [name]Margaret[/name]/[name]Margo/name is pearl, and [name]Daisy[/name] is also a traditional nn for [name]Margaret[/name] because the French form, [name]Marguerite[/name], is the French word for daisy.

As to the middles you’re considering.

[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Theodora[/name] is nice, it’s a lot of ee at the beginnings though.
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Tabitha[/name] is my favorite! [name]Tabitha[/name]'s a great name. Wonderful blend of sound overlap with the b but other distinctions.
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is beautiful and very nice, just far more expected.

[name]Kendall[/name] - with [name]Kendall[/name] I would definitely recommend the more feminine [name]Eve[/name] or [name]Eliza[/name] over the also uni [name]Avery[/name]. [name]Kendall[/name] [name]Eve[/name] is really, really nice actually. I like how the lightness of [name]Eve[/name] lightens up [name]Kendall[/name]. [name]Eliza[/name]'s a great name but there’s also a lot of heaviness with [name]Kendall[/name].

[name]Piper[/name] - [name]Piper[/name] [name]Annabel[/name] is nice and somewhat expected.
[name]Piper[/name] [name]Athena[/name] is unexpected and I really like it! [name]Both[/name] names are clunkier than lightweight [name]Piper[/name], but [name]Athena[/name] is so serious (ancient goddess of wisdom) that I find they really round each other out nicely.

If this is your top choice, just make sure you’re not spelling anything you don’t want with the initial of your last name.

For boys, I recommend you go to the boys’ forum, but I’ll say I think trendiness matters less in the middle…if you are worried about this I think [name]Dexter[/name] is trendier than [name]Sebastian[/name] - [name]Milo[/name] and [name]Sebastian[/name] don’t really strike me as trendy (but while there is an objective component to this stuff, it itself is kind of subject to taste too). I [name]LOVE[/name] that you have [name]Ulysses[/name] on your list and I think [name]Ulysses[/name] is a great way to take the taste of [name]Atticus[/name] and ground it. [name]Dexter[/name] [name]Ulysses[/name] is super cool (just watch initials spelling) and I’d love even more [name]Felix[/name] [name]Ulysses[/name] (except the initials get risky again…).

Good luck!

Thanks jesba! You really got me rethinking kendall. I actually dod have both kirby and kendra on my list but i didn’t know what to do with them. I also really like your suggestion of daisy [name]Margaret[/name] and daisy margot. Those have been long favorites of mine and i think they do sound good with daisy, especially the meanings. And i didn’t even think of pairing dexter with ulysses! I love it!!!

I love the combo of piper adeline. Thanks ursa_minor!

[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Theodora[/name] - both names have a lot of the same letters just something to think about
I like [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Rose[/name], but how about [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]June[/name]?
[name]Kendall[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] has the repeating kendall eliza. [name]Kendall[/name] [name]Avery[/name] is lovely.
[name]Piper[/name] - love the name. Works well with [name]Athena[/name], [name]Adeline[/name], [name]Addison[/name], [name]Amory[/name], [name]Analie[/name], [name]Amelia[/name], and many other A names

Oh i love phoebe juliet! Very pretty & Shakespearean.

And thank you hatter for the suggestions of piper addison. I like the tomboyish spunk it has!
