I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] works nicely with the brother name and your chosen middle name works to cut the sweetness. All your names are strong, pleasing classics, but [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is my favorite, followed by [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. I don’t mind sibling names that start with the same letter, but [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] are too close for my preference.
[name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] or [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] work great with brother [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]! Although I think as siblings, [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] sound like the best match. Good luck!
I agree with PP’s that [name_f]Alice[/name_f] goes best with [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and that [name_u]Jude[/name_u] helps to cut the sweetness, although I myself don’t find it sickly sweet.
If you’re open to options, [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] is one of my favorite boy names (my daughter’s name is C.alla, if that helps) and I think all the girl names in my signature go fairly well with [name_m]Harvey[/name_m].
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] followed quickly by [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] (all 3 are beautiful)
I voted [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], but I didn’t read carefully. With brother [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] I like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] best to avoid repeated initials
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] sounds like siblings, although I really like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] also. (I just like being able to write my kids’ names as first initials, so two of the same becomes problematic!)
I like the repeated “v” in [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and [name_f]Ava[/name_f]! I also think they go best as sibling names.
I can see how [name_f]Alice[/name_f] can be sickly sweet and I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] personally.
I’d go with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] - I actually love it! [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is a really sweet name and as others have said, if that sweetness is too much for you [name_u]Jude[/name_u] dilutes it. [name_f]Ava[/name_f] is nice but much too popular in my opinion and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is a perfectly lovely name, just one that I don’t personally love. [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] go best with [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] in my opinion, but I’d choose [name_f]Alice[/name_f] (both because I prefer it and because I prefer not to repeat initials - although that’s not a big deal if you’re leaning toward [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]).
Hmm none of them seem perfectly suited. I voted [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]
What about…
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f]
[name_f]Alma[/name_f]
[name_u]Alva[/name_u] / [name_f]Elva[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Tilly[/name_f]
[name_f]Zella[/name_f]
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]!
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is such a sweet and spunky combination - that’s my vote!
I voted for [name_f]Alice[/name_f]! I know that [name_f]Alice[/name_f] sounds sweet, but I think mn [name_u]Jude[/name_u] tempers it, and I think it will age beautifully. [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] would be my second choice, but I think it sounds a bit cutesy with [name_m]Harvey[/name_m], and I don’t like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] very much for some reason. [name_f]Ava[/name_f] is too familiar, in my opinion, to pair with quirky [name_m]Harvey[/name_m].
I like [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] as siblings. They feel the most stylistically similar, although any of your options would work just fine.
Thank you so much! We are leaning towards [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think they’re too cutesy and matchy? Thank you. X
[name_m]Ah[/name_m] thank you so much! We’re definitely leaning towards [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] now (two weeks to go!) but my ONLY concern now is that [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] might be a bit cutesy and matchy for siblings. But do I get rid of my favourite name because of that?! Are they really really similar sounding?

I voted for [name_f]Alice[/name_f] but I really like either [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. I think both are beautiful choices and I wouldn’t worry to much about the names matching or not. Your children will both be grow up to be unique individuals whether or not they have the same initials. Use the name you love (you’ll be saying it often!) and if you can’t decide now I’m sure you will know which is the right name when you meet them. Good luck!
