Help! Already used my two faves--what next?

Hello all,
I am in need of help. I’m 19 weeks and although I have time, not having even the slightest idea as to what to name this little one is driving me mad. I have two sons, [name]Simon[/name] [name]Christopher[/name] and [name]Roman[/name] [name]Zachary[/name]. My last name is [name]Morgan[/name], which tends to make things difficult with it sounding like a first name. If this is a little girl (fingers crossed), her name will be [name]Willa[/name]. It’s been my favorite since I was 17. A boy’s name is where my husband and I are struggling. His faves are not my mine and vice versa. Here is a tentative list. Please give opinions, suggestions, etc.
Thanks!!

[name]Finn[/name]
[name]Finlay[/name]
[name]Bennet[/name]
[name]August[/name]
[name]Lincoln[/name]
[name]Emmerson[/name]

There are many other names that I love that my husband as put the kabash on --like [name]Jasper[/name]-- but, I guess this is his kid too ; )

Thanks again,
[name]Becca[/name]

Really loving [name]Bennet[/name]! [name]Bennet[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] is a great name.

Be mindful of this next choice, should it be a boy. You already have two names that end in the ‘en’ sound. If you add a 3rd such as [name]Lincoln[/name] or [name]Emmerson[/name], you will definitely have a pattern that will be obvious and may be hard to break!

[name]Bennett[/name] (this spelling) and [name]August[/name] are my favourites with your surname. I like [name]Finlay[/name] too but he may have to share his name with girls named [name]Finley[/name]. Here are some other suggestions.

[name]Eli[/name]
[name]Blake[/name]
[name]Riley[/name]
[name]Asher[/name]
[name]Reid[/name]/[name]Rhys[/name]
[name]Jude[/name]
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Hugh[/name]
[name]Neil[/name]
[name]Quincy[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Wesley[/name]
[name]Grant[/name]
[name]Charles[/name]
[name]David[/name]
[name]Archer[/name]
[name]Douglas[/name]
[name]Asa[/name]
[name]Wyatt[/name]

I would do lincoln or emmerson to match the “n” ending names of your other 2 sons with bennet as a middle.

I agree with the previous poster that you should keep the “n” ending for your boys.

I would suggest:
[name]Ian[/name]
Parlen
[name]Perrin[/name]
[name]Galen[/name]
[name]Olin[/name]
[name]Oren[/name]

I also agree with the ‘n’ ending! I personally love the name [name]Lincoln[/name] on a boy. [name]One[/name] thing to consider with [name]Emmerson[/name] is that it is also becoming popular among girls. Also, I would be wary of people trying to shorten it into a nickname likely ending up with [name]Em[/name], which is pretty feminine.

[name]Bennet[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] is my favorite and flows nicely together.

I like all of your names except [name]Bennet[/name] and [name]Emmerson[/name]. I believe the correct spelling is [name]Emerson[/name], I may be wrong though. I don’t care for it either way though.

Here’s the order I like your names:

  1. [name]Lincoln[/name]
  2. [name]August[/name]
  3. [name]Finn[/name]
  4. [name]Finlay[/name]
  5. [name]Emerson[/name]
  6. [name]Bennet[/name]

Thanks so much for all of the input! I agree with everything you all said. I have heard many [name]Emmerson[/name]'s and [name]Finley[/name]'s on girls and I’m not all that into unisex names. I love the name [name]William[/name] and it is a family name, but it’s more common than I would like to use- what do you ladies think? I love [name]Bennett[/name]- my only hesitation is that my husband’s brother’s name is [name]Ben[/name]. Wondering if this could be weird…
Thanks again for all your advice!
