HELP! Alternate Names to Tiberius

My husband LOVES the names [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m] and [name_m]Ajax[/name_m], but these aren’t my style at all. Any thoughts on alternate names that have the same weight, but maybe aren’t so [name_m]Roman[/name_m] gladiator-esque? I was thinking [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]… Thoughts? Help!

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is a good idea
[name_m]Titus[/name_m]
[name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m]
[name_m]Hendrix[/name_m]
[name_m]Axel[/name_m]
[name_m]Lucius[/name_m]/[name_m]Lucian[/name_m]
[name_m]Cassius[/name_m]/[name_m]Cassian[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m]
[name_m]Xander[/name_m]/[name_m]Xander[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u]
[name_m]Viggo[/name_m]
[name_m]Apollo[/name_m]
[name_m]Jupiter[/name_m]
[name_u]Zephyr[/name_u]
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m]
[name_u]Rex[/name_u]
[name_m]Castor[/name_m]
[name_m]Angus[/name_m]

[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is great!

[name_u]August[/name_u]/[name_m]Augustus[/name_m]
[name_m]Maxim[/name_m]/[name_m]Maximus[/name_m]
[name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m]
[name_m]Dominic[/name_m]
[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]
[name_m]Julian[/name_m]/[name_m]Julius[/name_m]
[name_m]Aurelian[/name_m]/[name_m]Aurelius[/name_m]
[name_m]Ozias[/name_m]
[name_m]Phineas[/name_m]
[name_m]Otto[/name_m]
[name_u]Rex[/name_u]
Iskandar

[name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
[name_m]Archer[/name_m]
[name_m]Axel[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]
[name_m]Evander[/name_m]
[name_m]Hector[/name_m]
[name_m]Leander[/name_m]
[name_m]Victor[/name_m]

My first thought was [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], which I quite like. Other ideas:

[name_m]Evander[/name_m]
[name_m]Virgil[/name_m]
[name_u]Seneca[/name_u]
[name_m]Archimedes[/name_m]
[name_m]Aristotle[/name_m]
[name_m]Cyril[/name_m]
[name_m]Darius[/name_m]
[name_m]Augustine[/name_m]

[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] sounds similar to [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m]. If your husband is super set on [name_m]Ajax[/name_m], I’m pretty sure it’s also the name of cleaning product, so you could use that to your advantage.

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Julian[/name_m]/[name_m]Julius[/name_m], [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]/[name_m]Jack[/name_m]

I immediately thought about the cleaning product when he said [name_m]Ajax[/name_m]! [name_m]Trust[/name_m] me, I’ve already tried that angle…

[name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m] is heavy but not nearly as gladiator-ish.

[name_u]August[/name_u] over [name_m]Ajax[/name_m] imo - [name_u]August[/name_u] is a bit of a chameleon and can go [name_m]Roman[/name_m], nature-y, classic and back again.

[name_m]Felix[/name_m] has the x and yet is considerably more laid-back.

[name_m]Tobias[/name_m], [name_m]Perseus[/name_m], [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] & [name_f]Nix[/name_f] were my first thoughts. Or maybe the name [name_m]Roman[/name_m] itself?

What draws him to those names? Is that they sound like Warriors? Maybe search Warrior names. But if he likes the “greek sound” maybe sticking with greek type names that could lean more “English/latin” derived.
What about:
Triton
or [name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m].
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Axel[/name_m]?

One warrior name we are thinking, but is Scottish, is [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]. It was the name of the Vikings who came over, the warriors from the “land of lakes”.

What kinds of names do you like? [name_m]Tibor[/name_m] is an alternative (TEE-bor), I know adults and kids with the name in Europe.

There are many [name_m]Roman[/name_m] or Greek names that have wonderful potential without sounding gladiator-esque. I really love [name_m]Aurelius[/name_m], for example.

I think you could definitely spin [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] as a compromise to names like [name_m]Ajax[/name_m]!

Some ideas in general that maybe hit your husbands style but are calmer or more familiar names:
[name_u]Orion[/name_u]
[name_m]Augustus[/name_m]/[name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] (probably the keast calm of the bunch but fed more familiar than [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m] or [name_m]Ajax[/name_m]
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m]
[name_m]Apollo[/name_m]
[name_m]Nero[/name_m]
[name_u]Theo[/name_u]/[name_m]Theon[/name_m]/[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
[name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_m]Octavian[/name_m]
[name_m]Gaius[/name_m]
[name_m]Casper[/name_m]
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m]/[name_m]Xander[/name_m]
[name_m]Julian[/name_m]
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]/[name_m]Leon[/name_m]
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_m]Otto[/name_m]
[name_m]Leander[/name_m]
[name_m]Titus[/name_m]
[name_m]Lucius[/name_m]/[name_m]Lucian[/name_m]
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]
