[name_u]Baby[/name_u] coming in [name_u]January[/name_u] and we are struggling to find a name.
Our daughter is [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] (Often goes by Haddie). We do not know the gender of this baby, but if it’s a girl will most likely be [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. We are looking for a boy’s name that is not too common/traditional- No [name_u]Michael[/name_u], [name_m]Joe[/name_m], etc.
Current options are [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] ([name_u]Sully[/name_u]), [name_m]Griffin[/name_m], or [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] ([name_m]Ozzie[/name_m]). I would like the middle name to be a family name, so options are [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_m]Burbank[/name_m]- or just [name_m]Banks[/name_m], [name_m]Frederick[/name_m], or [name_u]James[/name_u]. I feel like [name_u]James[/name_u] is the only one that fits well, but again, didn’t want too common. Help! Any combinations stand out to you, any other name suggestions, any middle name options similar to the family names I have listed?
Last name is a nine letter italian name that starts with a B.
Oh - I adore [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] [name_m]Banks[/name_m]! [name_u]Sully[/name_u] is such a great nn for a little great and [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] grows into such a distinguished sounding name. To me, [name_m]Burbank[/name_m] is a last name but shortened to [name_m]Banks[/name_m] it’s spunky, cool and unexpected yet known.
Haddie and [name_u]Sully[/name_u] - could they be any cuter!
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] is lovely, though [name_u]Sully[/name_u] and Haddie are super sweet. [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] [name_m]Banks[/name_m] is a nice combo.
Other ideas
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] (could still be [name_u]Sully[/name_u], or [name_u]Sonny[/name_u] or [name_m]Sol[/name_m])
[name_m]Gethin[/name_m] [name_m]Banks[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Burbank[/name_m]
I like [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Banks[/name_m], and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m].
Thank you everyone for the feedback! I have a feeling this baby is a boy, so I want to at least have some solid options when “he” arrives!
I love [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], but was starting to second guess it. So all the votes for it are reassuring. I love [name_m]Ozzie[/name_m], but struggle to picture a little [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]. And husband isn’t in love with [name_m]Griffin[/name_m], but hasn’t knocked it off the list like soooooo many other names!!
I do like the Suggestion of [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Burbank[/name_m], however my husband has already nixed [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] off the list.
I’m with all the previous posters on [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] [name_m]Banks[/name_m]. Haddie and [name_u]Sully[/name_u], yes please.
Not sure if it’s too traditional for you, but I think [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] would be a great uncommon first name. It’s actually ranked lower then [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] or [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]!
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Banks[/name_m]
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m]
Haddie and [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] … SO charming.
