My son’s name is [name_m]Jaron[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], and our first daughter is named Elladyn [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. Our last name is tricky, because it is Trees, so we can’t name our second daughter something like [name_f]Willow[/name_f] (which I love).
We love names that are unusual or made up, but sound “normal”-ish. Names inspired by fantasty literature is a big plus- especially The [name_m]King[/name_m] Killer Chronicles.
Absolutely love [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]! I wish I heard more of it. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] would be cute also could use the nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u]. Never heard of Anavieve before but I think it would fit well with your other kids. I think my vote goes to [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] however, as its a favorite of mine.
From your list I like Lyranna or Faelynn with [name_u]Joan[/name_u] as a middle and [name_m]Jaron[/name_m] as a brother, but would also suggest just [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] and [name_f]Fae[/name_f] as well.
[name_m]Jaron[/name_m] and [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_u]Joan[/name_u]
[name_m]Jaron[/name_m] and Lyranna [name_u]Joan[/name_u]
[name_m]Jaron[/name_m] and Faelynn [name_u]Joan[/name_u]
[name_m]Jaron[/name_m] and [name_f]Fae[/name_f] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] - my favorite.
I like Annavieve, I think it sounds great with your other children, works well with [name_u]Joan[/name_u] and can be shortened if you want to, but has a unique mythical quality.
From your list i like [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], but I don’t like the idea of [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] Trees, to me, Trees turns [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] into [name_f]Imagine[/name_f]. My next favorites are [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and Lyranna. Suggestion: [name_f]Zoelle[/name_f]. Best of luck!
I like Faelynn, second choice [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. Not loving Annavieve (too close to [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] so sounds synthetic) or Lyranna (don’t love the sound). [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] is cute with a different middle.
This is completely unhelpful, but [name_m]Jaron[/name_m]'s your son’s name, [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] is on your list, and you like fantasy-book-inspired names - coincidentally enough, both [name_m]Jaron[/name_m] and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] are characters in this one fantasy series called The False [name_m]Prince[/name_m]. Wait, were the names inspired by those books? Anyway I found it funny, since neither are very common names.
I think Aurianna and Faelynn are very pretty, and Aurianna [name_u]Joan[/name_u] sounds good.
I think Aurianna and Annavieve are probably the best options. Both sounds lovely with [name_u]Joan[/name_u], but I think I slightly prefer Aurianna. It has more of that sci-fi, magical feeling.
I wouldn’t use [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] or [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] (they seem too established next to [name_m]Jaron[/name_m] and Elladyn–I know [name_m]Jaron[/name_m] is a Hebrew nam, but it’s not widely used in the US) and I think Faelynn is good, but it looks very similar to Elladyn, not to mention then all of your children would have names ending in N (actually, maybe that’s a good thing?).
I think Lyranna looks okay, but the pronunciation is tricky–is it LYE-rah-nuh or lih-RAH-nuh or LYE-ruh-nuh or… I just don’t know, but I think Aurianna and Annavieve are better.
What about [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]? It’s another way to get to Auri. A few other fantasy book girl names I scrounged up the other day included [name_f]Ronia[/name_f], Sabriel, and Avienda, which might be of interest to you.
I like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Oriana[/name_f], spelling this way (Aurianna looks contrived, no offense). Annavieve and Lyranna are not my style but okay. I think Faelynn is pretty in theory but too close to “failing” (failin’). For the nickname [name_f]Fae[/name_f], what about [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] or Phaenna (fay-en-uh)?
“Faelynn” sounds like “failing” when said aloud. That’s a lot to saddle a baby with.
From the rest of the list, [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] are definitely the standouts. [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_u]Joan[/name_u] isn’t the best combo sound-wise, but she’ll be called [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] 99% of the time. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_u]Joan[/name_u] is absolutely lovely.
