Our daughter is [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] (a family name), and we call her [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] girl #2 is due soon and we thought we would name her [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] ([name_f]Emmy[/name_f]), but kind of felt like it was too similar to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], and now we are in the same boat because we loveee the name [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]! Too similar?
Other names we like:
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_u]Hayden[/name_u]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] (husband is not as in love with this)!
Thoughts?!
I think emerson works but not [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. With [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] I like [name_u]Harper[/name_u] from your options. I’ll star my favorites from my suggestions

Despite both starting with [name_f]El[/name_f]- I actually don’t think [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are too similar, especially if you call them [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Liza[/name_f].
[name_m]Even[/name_m] though [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]'s not the same style as [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], I don’t think that matters if you love the name.
Of the other names on your list, I think [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] fit best. I kind of like the idea of [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]—[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Viv[/name_f]/[name_f]Vivie[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] & [name_f]Liza[/name_f] as sisters. A may push you into feeling obligated to an E name if planning anymore babies
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] is my favorite from your list

I really like [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] as sisters! And if you wanted a nn for [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] to go with [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Ada[/name_f] would be adorable!
I do think [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are too close, but I think [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] is fine. I like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_u]Harper[/name_u] as well from your list.
