Help!!!! Boy names desperately needed!!

Okay, I’m 35 weeks pregnant, and my c-section is scheduled for [name_f]April[/name_f] 5th. We still don’t have a definite name pinned down. I’ve alternated between totally freaked out and surprisingly casual about it. Until now.

I originally pitched over 50 names. My husband hated all but one of them. I kind of put it on as an alternate as it was my least favorite. At first I was okay with it, but slowly began to hate it: [name_u]Tyson[/name_u]. He likes it because of [name_u]Neil[/name_u] DeGrasse [name_u]Tyson[/name_u]. I get it. I love him. He would be a great namesake. Unfortunately, I also think of [name_m]Mike[/name_m] [name_u]Tyson[/name_u] and [name_u]Tyson[/name_u] Chicken. I’d rather our son not be associated with a rapist or processed meat.

The 4 names we had narrowed it down to were [name_m]Oren[/name_m], [name_m]Ewan[/name_m], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], and [name_f]Tesla[/name_f]. My toddler and my husband like [name_m]Oren[/name_m] best. My oldest son and I like [name_f]Tesla[/name_f] best.

Our boys are [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] and [name_m]Albert[/name_m]. We’re obviously not married to A names.

My husband says he doesn’t want to have to go into a long story about how we picked his name with coworkers/family/strangers. Honestly, I don’t care. I’ve been through it all before. I’ve pitched a lot of music/pop culture related names. He loves scientists, but he shoots down every one of them I suggest. I’m not a science buff, but if it’s cool, I don’t care.

You haven’t considered [name_u]Neil[/name_u]? It’s at #629, so not very common, and has a couple great namesakes. [name_f]Tesla[/name_f]'s first name was [name_u]Nikola[/name_u], and [name_u]Niko[/name_u] is a cute nickame.

[name_f]Tesla[/name_f] is not a boys name in my mind and I don’t think it flows well w your sons names. [name_m]Oren[/name_m] is a great name I also like the suggestion of [name_u]Elias[/name_u] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m].

[name_u]Rory[/name_u] or [name_m]Oren[/name_m]. [name_f]Tesla[/name_f] is all girl to me.
