Help, can't decide on girl's name and only 3 weeks to go

We are having a hard time choosing a name and we only have 3 weeks left! I’d like something pretty and unique, but that will grow well on her.

Our son’s name is [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] so we really can’t get too unique or I feel it won’t match his classic “boring” name lol. Our last name is Lepore and some middle names would be either [name_f]Rose[/name_f], Loriane, or [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] (all grandmothers) but willing to have other middle names.

Names we like so far are:
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] (too popular?)
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_u]Emery[/name_u]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] (too popular?)

[name_u]Or[/name_u] using [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] as first names?

Please help!

I like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] to go with [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]. They are both long and classic names that flow together.

Another name could be [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Alexandrina[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

Great names, I wouldn’t really call them unique though, they’re all pretty common, except [name_u]Emery[/name_u] (which is on the rise).

I’ll suggest, [name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]!

[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] seems the most unique nowadays

[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is nice  If you want something unique, I’d say yes, [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] are too popular.

Sorry, you’re having such a hard time with names. I’m in my early 30’s and I feel like a lot of people my age are called Grace, Emily and Alexandra. I think they could all work as middles. I do like variations of the name Rose  Love the sound of Rosie Lepore!

Here are some suggestions for something a little fresher:

Amelia

Wren

Lydia

Zara

Eliza

Sage

Lyra

Camilla

Rosie/Rosa/Rosalie/Rosemary

Rosetta (Etta)

Penelope

Maisie

Layla

Lucie

Calla

Willow

Hazel

Mabel

Isla

Aurora (Rory)

Cora

Stella

Sadie

Phoebe

Alexandra Rose is stunning. That would be my pick! I think it matches Jonathon really well by being a long, classic name with multiple nn options.

Congrats on your little girl!

Firstly I think [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] is lovely super refreshing to see such a classic in a sea of unique names.

From your list I absolutely love [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] for you guys. [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is a strong classic very elegant and sophisticated. To me [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] just feels like a natural sibling to [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]. She has that similar classic vibe, feels familiar but isn’t used on the regular just like [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] and visually is off a similar length so they look great together. I actually love [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I prefer [name_f]Rose[/name_f] to shine in the first name slot I think [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] just feels so underused that [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would make the perfect middle name for [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. I absolutely love [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] :rose:

If it was me I would have [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] & [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] :two_hearts::two_hearts:

Yeah I was thinking [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] matched his name the best too, and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is really nice together thanks!

Lol, I know, ugh! I’m having such a hard time finding a name we like that’s strong and will age well but is also unique. [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] is definitely the most unique, thank you :slightly_smiling_face: I get alittle nervous how it will age though (and the potential bullying nicknames lol )

[name_f]Rosie[/name_f] Lepore, so cute!

[name_f]Emera[/name_f] is pretty, hadn’t thought of that, and I love the nickname Em/Emmy, it’s actually why I like [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. Thank you!

More votes for [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], thank you!

With your last name AND with your middle options I like [name_u]Emery[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] / [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] could be some options if you’re concerned about [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] changing up the spelling to [name_f]Emmalie[/name_f] could help distinguish it more if that’s the name you go with.

Wow you make some good points about [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], it does flow nicely with [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] thank you!

I actually LOVE [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], but when I look it up it says it’s really popular right now  but [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is a nice option I hadn’t thought of and it has that Em/Emmy nickname which I love thank you!
