[name]Charles[/name] (nn [name]Charlie[/name]): Like [name]Charlie[/name], don’t [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]William[/name] (nn [name]Wills[/name], [name]Will[/name]): too common?
[name]Oliver[/name]: too trendy?
[name]Duncan[/name]: love, but no nickname…and I love nicknames
[name]Benjamin[/name] (nn [name]Ben[/name])
[name]Henry[/name]: too trendy?
[name]Nicholas[/name]
[name]James[/name] (nn [name]Jamie[/name])
I like classic names too. Without knowing your last name, I would vote for [name]James[/name], [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Benjamin[/name].
[name]Henry[/name] is not trendy. It has a lot of history and it’s regal. You can call him [name]Harry[/name], like [name]Prince[/name] [name]Harry[/name].
[name]James[/name] is classically elegant and one of my favorite boys name that I wish my dh would agree to.
[name]Benjamin[/name] is a bit long, but I like nn [name]Ben[/name] a lot. Good with short ln.
[name]Duncan[/name] is a very strong sounding name with the D and hard C, so it would be a nice complement to a soft sounding ln with minimal hard consonants (BKTGPD).
[name]Charles[/name] (nn [name]Charlie[/name]): I really love both [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Charlie[/name]
[name]William[/name] (nn [name]Wills[/name], [name]Will[/name]): Another nickname could be [name]Liam[/name], but it’s rising in popularity right now.
[name]Oliver[/name]: This is on my list as well and I’m having the same reservations about it being too trendy.
[name]Duncan[/name]: Yeah there really aren’t any good nn’s for this one. What about [name]Declan[/name] nn Dec?
[name]Benjamin[/name] (nn [name]Ben[/name]): I like this one but I especially love [name]Benji[/name] as a nn.
[name]Henry[/name]: This is a great name! I wouldn’t say it’s trendy though it is more popular than it used to be.
[name]Nicholas[/name]: Cute
[name]James[/name] (nn [name]Jamie[/name]): I love this name, but then again I’m biased because it’s DH’s name (I use Jamsey as a nn/pet name for him).
I like [name]Oliver[/name] the best. Yes it is very in style right now but no where near as popular as [name]William[/name] and [name]James[/name] are. My second choice would be [name]Henry[/name].
