I think [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] was my top choice, but I didn’t read big sisters names. I really like [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], nn [name_f]Gem[/name_f]/[name_u]Jem[/name_u]. Especially with [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f]! Seriously the cutest. GO WITH [name_f]GEMMA[/name_f]! I like [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u]. I wouldn’t do [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f], just because of the double ‘j’ sound.

Whichever first name you choose, I would recommend using [name_u]Rain[/name_u] as the middle name! It’s a really beautiful nature name that sounds great with both [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], and goes perfectly along with [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u].

[name_f]May[/name_f] is a less obvious nature name (and much more common middle name) in comparison to [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is a bird like [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and therefore makes [name_u]Sage[/name_u] stick out, and [name_f]Jade[/name_f] leads to alliteration that doesn’t sound so good with [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] in particular. So I think [name_u]Rain[/name_u] is the best choice!

Personally I voted for [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] as a combo, but I think [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] might go better with [name_f]Honora[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilith[/name_f].

[name_f]Johanna[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is gorgeous!

[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is lovely too but I always struggle with [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] because it was such a popular name in the 80’s/90’s here in the UK. I do love the idea of a little [name_f]Gem[/name_f]/[name_u]Jem[/name_u] though, and think the nickname is much more intuitive from [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] than [name_f]Johanna[/name_f]. I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] too, but I know that it doesn’t have the best connotations in the US.

[name_f]Johanna[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]! Second choice is [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] wren.

I had to vote [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u], because it is so so perfect with her sisters names. But I do admit I am absolutely intrigued and drawn to [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u]! I love how the two names are so opposite. One is long and one is short, one is old and one is modern. One is a long established name one is a word. They create such a cool balance!
Whatever you go for, all the best!

The more I think about it, the more I like [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] over [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]. I also adore [name_u]Rain[/name_u] as a middle, whichever you pick, for the same reasons @stellarevolution said! She really nailed that argument perfectly. But I’m beginning to think [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] is prettier than [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]. [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] is more intuitive with the [name_f]Gem[/name_f]/[name_u]Jem[/name_u] nick name, but I don’t know! [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] is so beautiful.

[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is absolutely adorable! So spunky & sweet!

As much as I love [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] and [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], it for some reason bugs me a bit that [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] and [name_f]Honora[/name_f] both are 6 letters, but neither [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] nor [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] is. I highly doubt most will notice, but I guess I’m a counter like that. I count the letters in names all the time, and most don’t, so it should not be an issue. I think [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] is the best, followed by [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f].
