Help choosing new name

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]

I’m transgender and need some help choosing a new name. My current top choice is [name_m]Will[/name_m] but I’m not sure on a formal name, my favourites are [name_u]Willoughby[/name_u] or [name_m]Willem[/name_m]. I would prefer something a that’s more unisex as I am non-binary but I also like masculine names. Names I’ve considered are
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_u]Arden[/name_u]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_u]Avery[/name_u]
[name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_u]Grey[/name_u]
[name_f]Avis[/name_f]
[name_u]Merle[/name_u]

My birth name is [name_f]Helen[/name_f] and I like the style of [name_f]Helen[/name_f]. I also like nature names. My surname has a strong [name_u]Kay[/name_u] sound so any name with an strong ay sound doesn’t work. In terms of my personality I’m quite shy and I like history and I’m 16 and in the uk if that helps.

Thank You

I think [name_u]Avery[/name_u] is the one I’d chose from your list, but would you consider something like [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] or maybe [name_u]Emory[/name_u]?

I really like [name_m]Will[/name_m], and I think you could use it as it is, without a formal version!

Some other unisex names I like: [name_u]Jordan[/name_u], [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]

I like [name_m]Willem[/name_m]. I think it has a similar style to [name_f]Helen[/name_f] which you said you liked. It is soft sounding and I think it would suit a shy person, which is how you desribed yourself. It is also seems like it would suit someone interested in history. That would be my first pick based on your description but I also love [name_u]Arden[/name_u] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. They are also soft and would suit someone reserved.

Good luck!
