idea borrowed from the lovely may (@may.rose)
there are so many names i adore, but i can never form a proper ‘top 5’ for my girls. three definitely are staying (charlotte, lucy, elizabeth) with some contenders for the last two places.
help me decide, friends!
georgia — most likely the one to join my top five, but i figure i’d include her anyways! my main concern with georgia are the nicknames, as i can’t find one i like but feel like there should be one, and the lack of preferred combos.
lily — i absolutely adore this name, but my main concern is that it is too close to lucy. i like it for the literary connections, as well as personal, and the longer forms (liliana, lillian) i’m not that keen on.
daisy — adore daisy for all she’s worth, but i’m worried she doesn’t age very well. another concern is that she’s too short in comparison to elizabeth and charlotte, and perhaps too rhyming with lucy.
edie — similar concerns for daisy; i’m worried that edie falls short in comparison to the rest of my list.
flora / florence — i prefer the look of florence to flora, but the sound of flora to florence. that’s my main dilemma, here!
let me know your thoughts, and which girls should join charlotte, lucy, and elizabeth!

Based purely on cohesiveness, I would add [name_u]Florence[/name_u] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] to your set! I don’t think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is too rhymey at all with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]! I actually think having them together makes them both feel more at home in the set! [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] works extremely well for a grown woman! Very classy and fun! [name_u]Florence[/name_u] feels just perfect with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] especially. I do prefer [name_f]Flora[/name_f] in general, I think.
For you, [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] are wonderful! I think [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] goes great in the set, I just had to mention [name_u]Florence[/name_u] as well, since she feels right at home!
Final answer: [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

I would avoid [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] if you are worried about sharing initals.
[name_f]Edie[/name_f] could get said as [name_u]Eddie[/name_u] and not Ee-dee. Plus it doesnt feel complete
[name_u]Florence[/name_u] is okay
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is my favourite, i known a grown daisy and it suits her well! I think it will age well!
Never liked [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], i dont know why.
[name_f]My[/name_f] vote is [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

With [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], I really like:
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - charming, sweet but solid too. It brings balance to your top 5 and I think it ages perfectly fine!
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] - this one feels like it should be on your list! [name_u]Strong[/name_u], pretty and solid! A nickname might just come naturally

I don’t think [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] — my only hesitation is that it could be a nickname for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], which is already on your list.
I’d add [name_f]Flora[/name_f] (I think that fits slightly better than Florence) & [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_u]Florence[/name_u] get my vote (for first names)
Id be tempted to try and use lucy, lily, edie & daisy as middles? Unless you have a gorgeous list for middles too?
