My husband and I are expecting our last baby (a boy!) in [name_u]January[/name_u]. We already have a boy named [name_u]Mason[/name_u] (nn [name_m]Mace[/name_m]) and a girl named [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Liv[/name_f]). I’ve had my heart set on [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] for this little one, and I felt that it went well with our current children’s names, but husband is dead set on [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. I picked my other children’s names, so I feel that I need to let him win this one time… So does [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] sound okay with [name_u]Mason[/name_u] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]? I’m having a hard time parting with [name_m]Wes[/name_m], lol.
I actually love [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and mason. I also love the nickname benji for it.

I dislike that [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_u]Mason[/name_u] share the same ending. I think [name_u]Mason[/name_u] and [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] pair better.
Is your husband drawn to [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] because it’s more common/familiar, it is another top 10 name like your other children? [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] is ranked 126 so it might be more common than he realizes.
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] works well with [name_u]Mason[/name_u] & [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], but I’m with you – [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] is one of my favorite boy names and i love it with your other two!! Maybe you can get him to see the light?? But I can see why you feel you need to give his choice priority. Good luck!
