[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!
[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I are expecting a little girl in just a few weeks and still cannot decide on a name. Our son’s name is [name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] - he will be 2 next month. Our last name is [name_m]German[/name_m] for “beautiful” - our family pronounces it like “[name_u]Shane[/name_u]”. Here are our top 3 name combinations at the moment:
[name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_u]Arden[/name_u]
[name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u] or [name_f]Eliette[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f]
Thoughts?
Other names still on our list are:
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Ila[/name_f]
[name_f]Eila[/name_f]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_u]Leighton[/name_u]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Dree[/name_f]
I’d steer away from [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] and [name_f]Dree[/name_f]–they’re all so masculine. [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] are nice.
[name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is beautiful! And I love [name_f]Summer[/name_f], too! [name_u]Arden[/name_u] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m] makes such a stunning sibset.
From your list I like [name_f]Isla[/name_f] or [name_f]Marina[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Dree[/name_f], but as a nickname only.

[name_u]Ellery[/name_u]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_f]Layla[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_u]Arden[/name_u]! I also really like [name_f]Marina[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], and [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]. [name_f]Marina[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] would be beautiful!
I love [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] on a girl, and I also love [name_f]Summer[/name_f] (sounds like a happy, friendly and a girl that is deep yet carefree), however; [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_u]Shane[/name_u] sounds too close like [name_f]Summer[/name_f] Shame.
I think that [name_m]Asher[/name_m] would have a sister named [name_f]Ila[/name_f] [name_u]Leighton[/name_u]
I love [name_u]Leighton[/name_u], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_u]Arden[/name_u], [name_u]Elliott[/name_u]/[name_f]Eliette[/name_f] and [name_f]Summer[/name_f]. [name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_f]Summer[/name_f] or [name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_f]Eliette[/name_f] or those two combinations reversed would be the combinations I’d make out of them. I wouldn’t worry about masculinity - that stuff has become much less relevant nowadays. Use whatever names you want.
The one thing I’d keep in mind though is the fact that both [name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_u]Arden[/name_u] start with the letter A - if you had a third child, would you also give them a name with the letter A?
Of your top three, I really like [name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], but from the rest of your list I love [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f]!
Any thoughts on [name_f]Thea[/name_f]? [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Summer[/name_f] or [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Thea[/name_f]? I recently stumbled across this name on a family tree and am pretty in love with it.
Does [name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_f]Summer[/name_f] sound better or [name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f]?
