Help! Due in 3 days no boy name decision!

My husband and I can’t agree on a boys name. I don’t like his top ones and he doesn’t like mine. Here are the few that we have as options that we would both be okay with … my daughters name is [name_f]Maggie[/name_f], so not too weird but a little unique.

I like [name_m]Liam[/name_m] or [name_m]Hamish[/name_m] but he doesn’t. He likes [name_u]Declan[/name_u] and [name_u]Connor[/name_u].

I like [name_u]Timothy[/name_u] for [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]’s brother. It’s rather underused, too.

I do feel the mn can make make a big difference on the name. Maybe finalize that first if you haven’t- it could weed out some options. Between what you both are okay with I’m liking Huson first and [name_u]Bowie[/name_u] second!

Here are my thoughts-

[name_m]Liam[/name_m]-I love this. It’s really handsome w/Maggie & O’[name_u]Carroll[/name_u]. It’s super over done though, unfortunately.

[name_m]Hamish[/name_m]-Ooh, this is fun. Very Gaelic, yet way more unique. And charming. Also perfect w/Maggie & O’[name_u]Carroll[/name_u].

[name_u]Declan[/name_u]-I love this as well! A bit more common than [name_m]Hamish[/name_m], but it’s not super over done. It goes perfectly w/Maggie & your ln. It’s sporty, dashing & simple.

[name_u]Connor[/name_u]-This isn’t bad, but it’s a little tired. And also kind of a tongue twister w/O’[name_u]Carroll[/name_u].

[name_u]Hudson[/name_u]-This is pretty meh to me. I just hear it a ton. And it’s not as classic as [name_m]Liam[/name_m], so it just sounds super trendy.

[name_u]Timothy[/name_u]-Kind of cute. I think that [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] & [name_m]Tim[/name_m] are nice for siblings. [name_u]Timothy[/name_u] O’[name_u]Carroll[/name_u] sounds perfect.

[name_u]Bowie[/name_u]-Hm. Are you [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_u]Bowie[/name_u] fans? I guess it makes sense then. Seems a little off otherwise. Not my favorite.

[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]-Very handsome. I love [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] nn [name_m]Tuck[/name_m] or [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] w/Maggie.

My favourite for you is [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]. I think it complements [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] well. [name_f]My[/name_f] second choice would be [name_u]Bowie[/name_u]. It’s much more unusual than [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] but I don’t think sibling names have to have the same style at all. [name_u]Bowie[/name_u] and [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] are actually pretty cute together!

I really like [name_u]Timothy[/name_u] with [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]. [name_u]Timothy[/name_u] O’[name_u]Carroll[/name_u] sounds so polished and timelessly elegant as well.

Agree with other users- if you want a middle name maybe work that one out so you can see which of your first name options it goes with best.

I love the classic [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. Agree with other users that [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] feels too trendy. I like [name_u]Bowie[/name_u], but I recently learned it’s pronounced differently ([name_u]Bo[/name_u]-ee vs. [name_u]Boo[/name_u]-ee) depending on what part of the country you live in and whether you’re more familiar with the singer or the knife. The nice thing about [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_u]Timothy[/name_u] is they are very pronounceable and easy to spell, but he likely won’t have other kids in his classes with the same name.
