I like [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. Lots of variation with this list! Seems like you’ve gotta decide whether you want something more traditional or more modern. More nickname like or more full sounding.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] and [name_f]Elin[/name_f] are my favourites. I would really like to see [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] being used more often. The problem is that none of your middles are not two syllables and it would disrupt the flow. The other problem is that your last name begins with D which also disrupts the flow.
I really like [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], but I don’t love it with our last name. I’m starting to like [name_f]Willa[/name_f] more. My maiden is [name_m]Williams[/name_m] and DH’s FN is [name_m]William[/name_m] so it would be a family name as well.
However, with a one-syllable “D” surname, [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] and [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] may not be ideal (d and t are similar). I would go with the names that have a softer lilting l’s like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f]. I like both of these names with the mn [name_f]Frances[/name_f].
[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]! Also like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], although I feel [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is too much of a nn.
I love [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] in the first name spot. Hopefully you have a [name_f]Susan[/name_f] or [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] in the family because I love the combo of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f].
I liked [name_f]Elin[/name_f], [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_m]Lennon[/name_m], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], & [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]. Middle name wise I like the idea of [name_f]Norma[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], or [name_f]Georgia[/name_f].
I’m trying to get DH on board with [name_f]Willa[/name_f]. I think I have a better chance to bring him around to with [name_f]Willa[/name_f] than I do with [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or [name_u]Piper[/name_u]. He likes [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], but the single syllable, starts with D, 3 letter last name makes me question it. He doesn’t like [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] because [name_f]Bella[/name_f] is a popular dogs name and has been used by friends for their dogs. My mom doesn’t care for [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] because she knew a [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] who was a mean old lady, but says she’s sure she’ll warm up to it if we use it. I’m glad at least a few people like [name_m]Lennon[/name_m]! It’s been a guilty pleasure of mine for a while, but I’m not sure I could really pull the trigger on it. [name_u]Harper[/name_u] was my #1 with my last pregnancy 4 years ago, but has since then shot up the charts and been used by several celebs, kind of the same with [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]. [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_f]Elin[/name_f] are so short, I’m not sure I want to use them with a 3 letter last name. Any additional thoughts are appreciated!
I am a little surprised that [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] has taken the lead! I liked it enough for my top 10, but I’m not sure it would have made the top 5. I may have to think that one over a little more.
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] (long from [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u]?)
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
