Help due this week

So hubby and I have decided to name our second son [name_m]Simon[/name_m]. Our first son is named [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and it was pretty difficult to find this second name after our love affair with the name [name_m]Henry[/name_m].

[name_m]Simon[/name_m] has a family connection on my side. We cannot agree on a middle name for [name_m]Simon[/name_m]

Here is what we have any thoughts would be appreciated btw our last name starts with T is two syllables and typically Britsh sounding

[name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m] (hubby’s grandfathers middle name…btw he was a bit of a jerk but he likes that it’s sgt… For the initials )
[name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Feliks[/name_m] (my great grandfathers name… But hubby doesn’t like it…reminds him of the cat )
[name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Lukas[/name_m] (a fav name of mine but with no family ties)
[name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] ( hubby has vetoed)
[name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] (again on my side of family)
[name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] (English version of my grandfathers name -franciszek ) but I think this name comes across as too dorky…?

Other names from my side:
[name_m]Johann[/name_m]
[name_m]Jakob[/name_m]
[name_m]Leon[/name_m]
[name_m]Jozef[/name_m]
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m]
[name_m]Robert[/name_m]
[name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m]

Names from hubby’s side:
[name_u]Vern[/name_u]
[name_m]Lloyd[/name_m]
[name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_u]Garry[/name_u]

[name_u]James[/name_u] (a name hubby suggested but which we have no ties to)

Btw-[name_m]Henry[/name_m] has my other grandfathers name as his middle

Like I said …I’m due in a week so I could go any minute and we haven’t pinned this down yet so would appreciate some imput from berries

Firstly, I’d ditch anything that husband has veto’d. No point in leaving them on the list.

I think [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m] is wonderfully handsome and a great choice. I also really like [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] - not dorky at all.

Maybe [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]? I would use a name from your husband’s side since [name_m]Henry[/name_m]'s middle name and [name_m]Simon[/name_m]'s first name have family connections on your side. [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m] sounds good too, but if the grandfather was kind of a jerk I can see why you may have some hesitation there.

I like [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Lloyd[/name_m]

I would choose a name from your husband’s side this time especially since there isn’t one that stands out for both of you. I like [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] or [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u], and if [name_m]Edward[/name_m] is living, I would choose that. Could [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Gareth[/name_m] honour [name_u]Garry[/name_u] if you like that?

[name_u]Francis[/name_u] and [name_m]Edward[/name_m] are both living… [name_u]Francis[/name_u] is my grandfather and [name_m]Edward[/name_m] I guess married into family… On my husbands side.

Had a false labour alarm today so time is really ticking here

I actually really like [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Lloyd[/name_m]. Its interesting, not really two names I would have paired together before now. Either that or [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]. It’s a bit more boring but still not bad. Like I said though my votes for [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_m]Lloyd[/name_m]. Time to represent the other said of the family. Good luck!
