Help finding names that go well with Wiley

I had the perfect girl’s name picked out and was 100% sure that’s what I was having. Then today I had my ultrasound and he surprised us all! The last name is [name]Taylor[/name] and I really like [name]Wiley[/name] because it was my grandfather’s name, but I’m not sure if I like it as a first or middle. I’m not a big fan of top 100 names, but I worry that [name]Wiley[/name] might be too uncommon now (people might keep thinking his name is [name]Riley[/name], for example) so that’s where the first vs. middle name debate comes in. I also like the name [name]Xander[/name], since my name is [name]Alexandra[/name] and I go by [name]Alex[/name] so it’s a version of my name without the chance of both winding up with the same nickname, but I’m concerned about its rising popularity, plus I think [name]Xander[/name] [name]Taylor[/name] doesn’t sound great due to the similar sound at the end of both names. I also like the names [name]Valen[/name] and [name]Jamie[/name] but both have picked up negative connotations from people I know.

Anyway, suggestions would be appreciated for a name that fits well with [name]Wiley[/name] and [name]Taylor[/name]. I’d rather ask you guys than friends and family so I don’t wind up hearing “Why didn’t you use the name I said? It was perfect.” about 50 times. Thanks all!

I like all the suggestions you have come up with, [name]Jamie[/name] being my favourite followed by [name]Xander[/name]. [name]Wiley[/name] is pretty cool too and would be an interesting first name option and a nice homage to your grandfather. But here is some combos I came up with:

[name]Alasdair[/name]/[name]Alistair[/name]/Alastor [name]Wiley[/name] [name]Taylor[/name]
[name]Wiley[/name] [name]Alasdair[/name] [name]Taylor[/name]

[name]Alasdair[/name] is the Scottish form of [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Alexandra[/name], but you could use [name]Alistair[/name]/[name]Alastair[/name]/Alastor as well depending on which one you prefer

[name]James[/name] [name]Wiley[/name] [name]Taylor[/name]
[name]Wiley[/name] [name]James[/name] [name]Taylor[/name]

I think this sounds great with [name]Wiley[/name], and it is similar to [name]Jamie[/name]

Here are a few more just off the top of my head:

[name]Hamish[/name]
[name]Kit[/name]
[name]Lorcan[/name]
[name]Hart[/name]
[name]Tobias[/name]
[name]Alec[/name]

I’m happy to suggest more if you want

[name]Hope[/name] you find the mn you’re looking for!

The more I search for a name to go with [name]Wiley[/name], the more I’m sure that’s what I’ll actually call him, even if it’s his middle name. I was trying to avoid calling him by his middle name, as I feel it will be a source of annoyance, having to correct every teacher on the first day of class, but I want the whole name to have nice flow and I had to always tell teachers to call me [name]Alex[/name] instead of [name]Alexandra[/name] and I’m no worse for wear.
