[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] is particularly hard to find a match for. We’d like a name with meaning to it, but we don’t like any of the family name options. They’re mostly surnames that are too long and ornate for our tastes. A nature name would be meaningful for us, but we just haven’t found a nature name that we like. They all sound a little too ‘hippy’.
The only options we semi-like are [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] (but everyone says it sounds too much like the Disney character [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Rider[/name_m]) and [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] (which honors the same person as our sons middle name, which is a little odd).
Things that may work- Biblical names or natur names. But again we just haven’t found any we like! We may just have to settle with a name we like instead of a name with meaning.
Any suggestions at all would be great! It’s also worth mentioning that I particularly like one syllable names for [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_m]Declan[/name_m], and three syllable names with [name_u]Flynn[/name_u].
Older brother is [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]!

[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]Joel[/name_m]
One of my favorite TV shows, Parenthood, had this minor character named [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Roan[/name_u] (not sure of spelling but sounds like Rohn- I imagine it spelled Rhon but that’s not a real name) and it makes me swoon! But the character was awful and so DH doesn’t want to use it.
So after some research, the characters name was actually [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Rome[/name_m]. Which I don’t like it all. Any idea if there is a name that sounds like [name_m]Rome[/name_m] but with an ‘n’?
I don’t mind [name_m]Roman[/name_m], but I actually know a few, so I don’t think I’d use it! I decided against [name_u]Roan[/name_u] as well, due to the horse association. So, back to square one
DH said he didn’t mind [name_m]Luke[/name_m] as a middle. But all I can think of is how my mom said she things it sounds like ‘puke’. So not sure about that either!!
