Help for a friend!

My friend (who has a broken computer) is looking for 4 names: first and middle for her b/g twins. Siblings are [name]Ashley[/name] [name]Grace[/name] “[name]Ash[/name]” and [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Rice[/name] “[name]Tom[/name]”. The first name has to have an ‘s’ in it (but not start with it), and middle name must have a ‘c’ (but not start with it). She doesn’t care about the popularity, and the ‘out’ names are:

Girls:
[name]Isabel[/name]/le/la
[name]Ash[/name]- names
[name]Paisley[/name]
[name]Addison[/name]
[name]Janice[/name]

Boys:
[name]Cash[/name]
[name]Edison[/name]
[name]Jackson[/name]
[name]Maurice[/name]

Thanks, we appreciate your help!

I would love to help, but I need to know what style of names she likes plus if she wants longer first names and shorter middle names or just the opposite. [name]Thomas[/name] is a classic name and [name]Ashley[/name] is more of a contemporary name, so which style does she prefer?

Her husband likes classic names, and she likes more contemporary names. Since her one daughter has a contemporary name, a classic one will be best for the next, thus a more contemporary one for her son. And short middle names are preferred. If nothing is found, then [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Rice[/name] will be used again. [name]Rice[/name] is her maiden name.

S in first name, C in middle name, this is kind of like a name game and I do like name games. Boys-contemporary, Girls-classic, okay:
Girls: [name]Louisa[/name], [name]Elissa[/name], [name]Francesca[/name], [name]Iris[/name], [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Jessamyn[/name], [name]Larissa[/name], [name]Maisie[/name], [name]Susanna/name, [name]Elisabeth[/name], [name]Theresa[/name] nn [name]Tessa[/name] or [name]Tess[/name], [name]Celeste[/name], [name]Alisa[/name], [name]Alyssa[/name], and [name]Marisa[/name]. Middle names with a “c”: [name]Lace[/name], [name]Bryce[/name].
Boys: [name]Josiah[/name], [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Bryson[/name], [name]Oscar[/name], [name]Jesse[/name], [name]Joshua[/name], [name]Hosea[/name], [name]Moses[/name], [name]Isaiah[/name], [name]Isaac[/name]. I think that biblical boys names can sound contemporary if they haven’t been in style for a long time and then they suddenly are fashionable again like [name]Isaac[/name]. Middle names: [name]Jack[/name], [name]Bryce[/name], [name]Macon[/name], [name]Royce[/name], [name]Luca[/name].
That was hard but fun!

Fairly classic names with ‘s’ in:
Girls: [name]Annis[/name], [name]Calista[/name], [name]Carys[/name], [name]Damaris[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Isis[/name], [name]Iris[/name], [name]Lilias[/name], [name]Melissa[/name], [name]Maris[/name], [name]Nerissa[/name], [name]Persis[/name], [name]Rose[/name] (and other [name]Rose[/name] names eg [name]Rosalie[/name], [name]Rosamund[/name])
Boys: [name]Amos[/name], [name]Boris[/name], [name]Cosimo[/name], [name]Cyrus[/name], [name]Dennis[/name], [name]Elias[/name], [name]Francis[/name], [name]Gaston[/name], [name]Joseph[/name], [name]James[/name], [name]Lewis[/name], [name]Louis[/name], [name]Lester[/name], [name]Marcus[/name], [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Rhys[/name], [name]Zacharias[/name]

Middle names with ‘c’:
Girls: [name]Alice[/name], [name]Alicia[/name], [name]Angelica[/name], [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Blanche[/name], [name]Erica[/name], [name]Felicity[/name], [name]Florence[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Jacinthe[/name], [name]Jacqueline[/name], [name]Joyce[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] ([name]Lucinda[/name]/[name]Lucille[/name]), [name]Marcia[/name], [name]Mercy[/name], [name]Monica[/name], [name]Nicole[/name], [name]Rachel[/name], [name]Rebecca[/name], [name]Scarlett[/name]
Boys: [name]Benedict[/name], [name]Bruce[/name], [name]Dominic[/name], [name]Eric[/name], [name]Francis[/name], [name]Frederick[/name], [name]Malcolm[/name], [name]Micah[/name], [name]Michael[/name], [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Patrick[/name], [name]Pierce[/name], [name]Richard[/name], [name]Victor[/name]

Thank you, unoriginal and susan! Those are great choices. She’s already thinking [name]Louisa[/name] or [name]Celeste[/name] and is thinking [name]James[/name] (a popular New Testament name with [name]Thomas[/name]). But middle names she isn’t sure on. Why they chose to have the letters is because her name starts with S and his name starts with C, and they didn’t want similar initials but wanted to be commemorated in the names. Thanks again. Looking forward to seeing more…

She’s thinking [name]Celeste[/name] and [name]Alice[/name]. And [name]James[/name] and [name]Isaac[/name]. But is there a nickname for [name]Celeste[/name]? That’s what she’s worried about.

I think it’s okay to be really flexible with nicknames. Why not use [name]Celia[/name] or Cessie as a nickname for [name]Celeste[/name]? Or she could name her daughter [name]Cecilia[/name] or [name]Cecily[/name] and call her [name]Ceil[/name], [name]Celia[/name], Cessie, C.C., [name]Cissy[/name], etc.

She’s now waiting for [name]Celeste[/name] [name]Alice[/name] and [name]Cosmo[/name] [name]Isaac[/name]. Since [name]Celeste[/name] means heavenly, [name]Cosmo[/name] fits and there was a [name]Cosimo[/name] in her family many years ago. [name]Lissie[/name] is the nickname she chose for [name]Celeste[/name] (via [name]Alice[/name]), and [name]Coz[/name] for [name]Cosmo[/name] (there’s [name]Mo[/name] also, but she knows a [name]Monica[/name] who goes by that.). Thank you again, unoriginal and susan, for your wonderful suggestions!

Very cool names!

Another [name]Cosmo[/name], [name]How[/name] cool! Beautiful choices, she’s made, really lovely!

[name]Cosmo[/name] is such a cool name. It has old-fashioned charm and modern spin, and it combines the daring and debonair (girls have sweet and sassy!). Too bad I’ve fallen in love with it.
