We just found out that our 3rd baby, due in [name_u]June[/name_u], is a girl. We have 2 boys already: [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]Davis[/name_m] and [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] Greys.
[name_m]Beckett[/name_m]'s middle name, [name_m]Davis[/name_m], is after my Grandpa. [name_m]Raff[/name_m]'s middle name, Greys, is the name of a river nearby that is a special place to our family.
Before the ultrasound, I was set on [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] (nn [name_m]Lenni[/name_m]) for a girl, and DH liked it, but I don’t think he thought we’d ever get a girl. Now that it’s “real” for him, he’s decided that [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is too long, and the nickname [name_m]Lenni[/name_m] sounds too much like [name_u]Laney[/name_u], the daughter of his ex gf who happens to live in our very small town. I told him we could just not call her [name_m]Lenni[/name_m], but he’s still not sold on the idea.
I love [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] because of its subtle nature meaning (I’m a tree lover) and the way it fits with our other kids’ names. The x ending is probably the thing I like the least. I love [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] because it girls up such a boyish first name, and the meaning is perfect for our precious rainbow baby. =)
He likes the idea of [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] in the middle spot, which I really do like for a [name_u]June[/name_u] babe, but we’re completely at a loss when it comes to first names to go with it. We’ve considered [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] as a first, but it feels a bit too cutesy, and I keep thinking of everyone I know that has dogs named [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. =(
Names I like that he has shot down: [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u], [name_u]Campbell[/name_u], [name_m]Crosby[/name_m], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
My middle name is [name_u]Robin[/name_u], after my aunt. She was named after her Grandmother, [name_f]Robinette[/name_f]. I like the idea of honoring the name [name_u]Robin[/name_u] in some way, but maybe with another bird name. I like [name_u]Wren[/name_u], but not enough to use as a first name.
I would love any more suggestions that I can run by my picky guy! We’ve got a lot of time before baby comes, but I’ve never been this unprepared before. Thanks for your help!
