HELP! I have only a few days left to find a middle name for my son!

My husband and I had agreed upon [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] for our son. But then my c-section was scheduled for Sept. 21st…World [name]Peace[/name] [name]Day[/name]! So we have talked about the possibility of a different middle name that has to do with peace or love or something similar. We really like unusual names. I’ve been looking up words even…like terms used in buddhism but haven’t found anything yet. I also looked up the word [name]Peace[/name] in different languages but didn’t find anything interesting. We like eastern philosophy. Any suggestions?! He’ll be here really soon and now I’m totally stuck! UGH!

Ummm??? Maybe: [name]Bodhi[/name], [name]Colm[/name], [name]Pax[/name], [name]Shalom[/name], Yogi, [name]Milo[/name], [name]Shanti[/name] or straight-up “[name]Peace[/name]”? GL!

I really like [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Paz[/name] or [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Pax[/name]…[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Peace[/name] isn’t too bad either. I like names with meaning

I like the idea of [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Pax[/name]. Or even [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] [name]Pax[/name].

[name]Justice[/name]? [name]Justin[/name] is nice, but [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Justin[/name] might be too singsongy.
I also personally love [name]Tenzin[/name], though it’s a bit daring on a western kid. It’s the name of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

[name]Asher[/name], [name]Cayo[/name], and [name]Felix[/name] all mean ‘happy’ and I think any one of them sounds good with [name]Rowan[/name].

What about [name]Solomon[/name]? It’s derived from from shalom.

[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] is my favorite. I think that’s a great name! I would stick with it

I agree completely! [name]Love[/name] [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Atticus[/name]!

It is a nice thought to tie in his name with some meaning of the day. I’d definitely look around for something that you like and will work, but I wouldn’t stress about it in the LEAST! You’ve got other more important things to concentrate on, especially since you already have one great mn chosen.

If you can’t find something, you can’t. You had an idea and explored it. That happens all of the time.

I love [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] and would only change it, if you stumbled across the “perfect” replacement. Not forcing yourself to find something new.

Or, you can explore the ever growing in popularity choice of adding a second mn. Like a pp mentioned, I like [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] [name]Pax[/name]. And I’d really like [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] [name]Colm[/name], if it flows well with your ln.

More support for [name]Rowen[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] [name]Pax[/name]! I don’t typically go for two mns but I actually like it in this case. Plus [name]Pax[/name] is such a short name it doesn’t seem like it would be hard to fit in on forms and such if necessary.
Otherwise, I would stick with [name]Rowen[/name] [name]Atticus[/name]. It is a great name!

I have done a little research on the this day and apart from the word peace and these are the words that came up so I looked for names connected to them:
beacon
light
halcyon (a good one for a girl)
tranquil

So I looked up names with these meanings and here is the list I found
[name]Galen[/name] or the modern [name]Jalen[/name],
[name]Brendan[/name] (beacon on a hill according to some), also
[name]Sheehan[/name] meaning small and tranquil
[name]Destin[/name] by the still waters
[name]Paxton[/name] could be connected to the Latin word pax meaning peace and ‘tun’ meaning settlement in other words a peaceful settlement as in a village/town etc.
or names that mean light eg

[name]Lucian[/name]
[name]Lucius[/name]
[name]Kiran[/name] beam of light
[name]Noor[/name] light
[name]Abner[/name] father of light
[name]Luce[/name] light
[name]Luke[/name] light
