I am expecting my first child , due in 10 weeks… and having the hardest time coming up with names or even starts of names because we are trying to incorporate two very different last names - McGarvey [name_m]Beach[/name_m].
Any naming pros out there have any male and female first and middle names to flow right into the very bulky Mcgarvey [name_m]Beach[/name_m]?
I think sticking to one or two syllable names will help balance such a long surname. I’d also avoid names beginning with an M or a B, and names ending in a -y sound. Here are some names off the top of ny head that maybe you could consider:
I agree anything not too clunky that doesn’t end in M. (I also find [name_f]Emma[/name_f] McGarvy a little hard to say, so maybe no M near the end). Those names aren’t too hard to say so I don’t think you really need to worry. Are you adding a middle name too? Maybe a one syllable name would be good.
