Help! Is our baby girl’s name too long? [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] Sloanpiper? She’ll go by [name_f]Addie[/name_f] Sloanpiper. Getting a little pushback from some opinionated family and it’s getting a little difficult to handle.

Who actually needs to state their full name (including middle) often enough that a longer name is an issue? I can’t remember the last time I had to say my whole name, even writing it the middle name is generally optional.

No! The name is absolutely gorgeous! It’s not like your daughter is going to introduce herself as that! Where she has to write formal names, her fn + ln will usually suffice! And she she will most probably not say her full name while introducing herself unless for business purposes! So, I think you’re good!!
