FYI, in [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_m]Austin[/name_m]'s most famous book Pride & Prejudice, the last name of the main character is [name_m]Bennet[/name_m].
So, unless you’re a huge fan, it’s something to consider
While I love [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] (my son’s name) [name_m]Austin[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] flows best.
My favorite is [name_m]Austin[/name_m] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m].
Depends how many syllables the last name is. Both are handsome!
If last name is one syllable, go with [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]. If it’s 2 or more, go with [name_u]James[/name_u].
Very good point.
I don’t think the [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] connection is a problem at all, especially as this is a different spelling of the (fairly popular) name, used on a boy.
I voted for [name_m]Austin[/name_m] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]. I love [name_u]James[/name_u], but it has become the go-to middle of the moment and strikes me as the less imaginative, interesting choice here.
Good luck and I hope you and your new little one are doing well!
Well said, and [name_m]Austin[/name_m] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] was our ultimate choice. Thank you all for your insight!
