Hello everyone, I’ve been thinking about changing my name for a while now but I’ve never found the one that felt right. That, or I’m just very indecisive.
I am looking for a name that sounds elegant and gives off this “old money vibe”. My last name ends with an -lee or -lay sound depending on the language.
I am currently living in the Netherlands. So the name should be pronounceable in Dutch, but the name itself doesn’t necessarily have to be Dutch. In fact, I lean towards English/French names more. First and middle names are welcome. :))

I don’t have any others to suggest, but I do like all on your list - except I don’t think [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] is the kind of name that you describe, and has a different, modern vibe.
It has been rough truly finding what truly “fits” me as a person! I am very close to making a final selection for a middle name. [name_f]My[/name_f] boyfriend and close friends have been supportive, but, unfortunately, my mom does not approve of the idea of me changing my name. You might have certain people in your life not support your decision on this issue. I was blind sided by certain people’s reactions to it-I just wanted to warn you!

Most people already know me by my nickname ,Emma, which will probably be a future middle name. Most people don’t even know my legal name, since I have used [name_f]Emma[/name_f] for over a decade. However, I want to use [name_f]Emma[/name_f] as a middle name, with a possible second middle name and with [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] as a first name.
