Help me choose a name for my son.

My partner and i are torn between the name Khyri and [name_m]Kendrick[/name_m] for our baby boy.
Khyri would be pronounced [name_u]Kai[/name_u]-ree, and [name_m]Kendrick[/name_m] just how it sounds. Place your votes please.

I prefer [name_m]Kendrick[/name_m], I never would have guessed Khyri’s pronunciation and would have said kee-ree or kee-reye, something that would get annoying after years and years of people mispronouncing his name (it happens to me all the time!)
In addition, I like that [name_m]Kendrick[/name_m] has more than one nicknames

I would pick whichever one has more meaning to you (if either does)

I like [name_m]Kendrick[/name_m] more. The pronunciation is extremely easy to gauge from the spelling even if someone is unfamiliar with it, it has nickname options, and I could see it on any type of boy or man.

I think [name_m]Kendrick[/name_m] is the best. [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] would be good too.

I like Khyri over [name_m]Kendrick[/name_m]. I would have pronounced it [name_u]Kai[/name_u]-ree upon reading it.

I instantly read it pronounce as “KEE-ree” and I kinda think [name_u]Kai[/name_u]-ree sounds like a girls name. Like [name_f]Kaylie[/name_f] or [name_f]Kylie[/name_f]. I love [name_u]Kai[/name_u], by itself, or [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], or [name_u]Reed[/name_u]…

[name_m]Kendrick[/name_m] would be my choice between the two, even though I’m usually pretty adventurous with names Khyri is just a little too odd for me.
