With [name_f]Fleur[/name_f], I love simple, botanical [name_u]Bay[/name_u]. It’s both cool and sweet, and I think they’d be gorgeous together!
I would take off list all those with high scoring scrabble letters - so [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Koby[/name_m], [name_m]Victor[/name_m] and probably [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m] (though that’s more bc they almost rhyme, [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] and [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m]).
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] is too close for me - too cute! And [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] and [name_m]Nero[/name_m] to me are too off genre. [name_m]Albus[/name_m] I just don’t love the pronunciation - which I might be doing wrong.
That leaves too good options with [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]: [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] or [name_u]Bay[/name_u]. [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] [name_u]Bay[/name_u] would be nice!
Otherwise: [name_m]Harry[/name_m] (you needn’t say it’s after HP!); [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Bill[/name_m], [name_m]Colin[/name_m], [name_m]Gideon[/name_m], [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] or [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]/[name_m]Tom[/name_m], then (non HP) [name_m]Bastien[/name_m], [name_m]Rupert[/name_m], [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] or [name_u]Jude[/name_u].
(On fence re [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m]…really like the name, just not sure if rhyme-y?)
I love [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u], and they even work together as a pair!
I’m also a huge HP nerd and if I could [name_u]EVER[/name_u] get my husband to agree with it, one of our son’s would have had the middle name [name_m]Sirius[/name_m], NO question. I just love the name on its own, plus [name_m]Sirius[/name_m] is the best character in the books, if I do say so myself. lol. We also ALMOST gave our last son the middle name Alastor.
So, in regard to HP names - [name_m]Sirius[/name_m] and Alastor are my favorites. Then there’s also the far more used, such as [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Collin[/name_m] or [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. It depends on your preference. (Maybe just not [name_m]Peter[/name_m] or [name_m]Tom[/name_m] lol)
