I have always LOVED baby names, but now that I’m actually pregnant I don’t seem to feel sure about any of them! I am going to start by trying to narrow down a girl’s name and then move on to the boys. Here is my criteria:
I like classic, regal, Shakespearean, posh, and old-fashioned names.
Our last name is the very common Marks, so longer first names are best, but unfortunately nothing with the “ar” sound like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] or [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
I would like a name that goes very well with many of the other names I like so that coordinating sibling names are easier in the future.
Great nicknames are a huge bonus.

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] (love the name but not the nicknames)

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] list! You can’t go wrong with any, but I think according to your criteria, [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] fits best. It’s Shakespearean, posh, sounds great with your last name, go well with numerous other lovely names and has some great nicknames ([name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_u]Cory[/name_u], [name_f]Delia[/name_f], [name_f]Lia[/name_f], etc).
I love [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]! [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] Marks is probably my favorite, but I’m not sure she would be able to avoid being called [name_f]Bea[/name_f], if you don’t prefer that. [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] Marks and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] Marks are beautiful, too!
