  • Flora Mae : 10 (16%)
  • Clara Maude : 6 (10%)
  • Fiona Maude : 16 (26%)
  • Madeline Flora: 4 (7%)

I voted for [name]Clara[/name] [name]Maude[/name], both names are favourites of mine
I really like [name]Flora[/name] as well, but [name]Mae[/name] in the middle is a little insubstantial. [name]Flora[/name] [name]Fiona[/name] would be fun, or [name]Flora[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]

I love [name]Sadie[/name] but would maybe pair it with [name]Margaret[/name] or [name]Mae[/name] ([name]Sadie[/name] [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Mae[/name]).

Ok thanks both for the tips! Definitely still trying to sort out which names flow best…great suggestions.

I went for [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] but I really like [name]Clara[/name] [name]Maude[/name] too : )

I voted for [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Maude[/name], as I looooove [name]Sadie[/name]. [name]May[/name] I suggest [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Mae[/name] though? I think [name]Mae[/name] fits better than [name]Maude[/name].

I voted for [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Maude[/name]… but I really like [name]Eilidh[/name] better (just not with [name]Margaret[/name]). I would prefer [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Maude[/name]. You mentioned in a previous post that you’re in [name]Wales[/name] (am I remembering correctly?) so pronunciation wouldn’t be a problem, right? I pronounce [name]Margaret[/name] with 2 syllables, and since [name]Eilidh[/name] also has 2 syllables, I don’t think they flow well together. [name]Eilidh[/name] works better with a one, three or more syllable mn, I think. So these names would work better imo:
Eliidh [name]Maude[/name] (but I like this name only if you are pronouncing it “mode”, not “mod”)
Eliidh [name]Mae[/name] ([name]Mae[/name] is a very cute name, but not as substantial, as a pp mentioned)
Elidh [name]Fiona[/name]
Elidh [name]Madeline[/name]
[name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Matilda[/name] (apparently [name]Maude[/name] is derived from [name]Matilda[/name])

I pronounce [name]Margaret[/name] with three syllables; I think the flow is perfect and love the combination with older sister Mhairi. Most of your other combinations struck me as faux-folksy; [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] is very distinguished and stood out by a mile.

While I really like [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Flora[/name], [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] got my vote. I like that [name]Eilidh[/name]'s initials would be Mhairi’s swapped, and plus, I’m just so happy to see [name]Eilidh[/name] being considered, I think it’s just fabulous. Mhairi and [name]Eilidh[/name] are great for sisters!

All the best!

1 [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
2 [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Maude[/name]
3 [name]Clara[/name] [name]Maude[/name]

It was between [name]Eilidh[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name] for me; but I voted for [name]Fiona[/name], because I love the nn Fi ([name]Fee[/name]).

I appreciate all the input! I had never noticed [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] would be Mhairi’s initials swapped so I like that a lot.

I how no idea how either Mhairi or [name]Eilidh[/name] would be pronounced (are these both Gaelic names??) so I’m not going to vote until somebody explains it for me!

After I researched how to pronounce it, I voted for [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Margaret[/name], sounds very pretty.

I haven’t given my vote yet because I am unsure of pronunciation.

It was stated that [name]Eilidh[/name] is pronounced as ay-lee, if I am wrong please correct me.
Is Mhairi pronounced as [name]Mary[/name]?

As soon as someone can give me more information, I will officially vote, but at the moment, I am leaning toward [name]Eilidh[/name] [name]Margaret[/name].

[name]Eilidh[/name] is Ay-lee yes.
Mhairi is just like [name]Mar[/name]-ee (the [name]Mar[/name] rhymes w/ car)

They are gaelic!
