Help me choose my boy/girl twin names!!

We are expecting boy/girl twins in 10 weeks or less and still can’t settle on two names!! My husband is firmly settled at least on “[name]Ford[/name]” for our boy. Since I got to name our son [name]Graham[/name] I am going to give him this one and I think [name]Ford[/name] is a nice strong, masculine name to compliment [name]Graham[/name]. Our considerations for the full name are:

[name]Edward[/name] “[name]Ford[/name]”
[name]Ford[/name] [name]Sutton[/name]
[name]Ford[/name] [name]Pierson[/name]
[name]Ford[/name] [name]Powell[/name]

Most are family names.

For the girl twin our top names are all gender neutral surnames. I know some people don’t like those, but that is what we prefer so I would love your opinions on the three names: [name]Leighton[/name], [name]Hayes[/name], or [name]Ellis[/name]. Here are a few choice combos:

[name]Virginia[/name] “[name]Ellis[/name]”
[name]Ellis[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Ellis[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] “[name]Hayes[/name]”
[name]Bridget[/name] “[name]Hayes[/name]”
“[name]Leighton[/name]” [name]Hayes[/name]
[name]Leighton[/name] [name]Powell[/name]
[name]Leighton[/name] [name]Virginia[/name]

I go by my middle name and that is pretty common in our area, so I am flexible on the choosen name being first or middle.

My picks are [name]Ford[/name] [name]Pierson[/name] and [name]Leighton[/name] [name]Powell[/name] I like the middle names sort of tying the twins together… and I can just foresee “[name]Ford[/name] and [name]Leighton[/name]” as sibling names!!

If you are going to call him [name]Ford[/name] then I would use that as the first name. I think it’s great! [name]Ford[/name] [name]Pierson[/name] and [name]Caroline[/name]

I like [name]Ford[/name] [name]Sutton[/name] and [name]Ellis[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] together.

I love [name]Ford[/name] [name]Pierson[/name] and [name]Virginia[/name] [name]Ellis[/name]. They make a lovely set!

[name]Ford[/name] [name]Pierson[/name] and [name]Ellis[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] (or [name]Ellis[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], I can’t decide!)

[name]Ford[/name] [name]Pierson[/name] and [name]Virginia[/name] [name]Ellis[/name] (or [name]Leighton[/name] [name]Powell[/name] and then both would have P middle names)

I like [name]Ford[/name] [name]Pierson[/name]. I don’t like the double d ending of [name]Edward[/name] [name]Ford[/name]. [name]Ford[/name] [name]Sutton[/name] sounds like [name]Fort[/name] Sumter, lol. And [name]Powell[/name] just isn’t an attractive name to me.

I think the flow of [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ellis[/name] and [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Ellis[/name] is beautiful and much better than the reverse of either. If you’re fine with using her middle name, then I’d go with one of those. I think [name]Ellis[/name] is the best of your 3 girl choices. [name]Hayes[/name] sounds like haze to me, or like “hey” which would be strange. [name]Leighton[/name] is okay, but I much prefer [name]Ellis[/name].

I really like [name]Ford[/name] [name]Pierson[/name] and [name]Edward[/name] [name]Ford[/name]. [name]Ellis[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]/[name]Catherine[/name] are great but I agree with the pp and think that [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Ellis[/name] or [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Ellis[/name] is better and you can still call her [name]Ellis[/name].
