I’m due in a few months and we’ve had the hardest time coming up with a name for baby girl. Which of these do you like better?
Daisy [name_f]Renee[/name_f] or [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]?
Last name is pronounced hard G-ouchie
- Daisy [name_f]Renee[/name_f]
- Willa [name_f]Renee[/name_f]
I love them both for different reasons.
My boys are [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] if that helps or matters
I love the way they both sound.
I was leaning towards [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] at first. It sounds so happy to me which I love. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and our last name both end in that y -ie sound so I wonder if that sounds good or bad? I also see it rising in popularity since [name_f]Katy[/name_f] [name_u]Perry[/name_u] named her daughter that which I don’t love.
Willa is a little more unique to me which I love. I actually love an “out there” name and would go really out there if my husband was on board haha.
I try to think what would sound best on a baby, little girl, and grown adult, and what I would want my own name to be.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!! You all are amazing.

Both names are lovely! I voted for [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] because I agree the name sounds happy and pleasant. I also think it matches your sons’ names the best in terms of style. [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is cute, but I think it’s more trendy. I think [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] sounds lovely with your surname as well

You can’t go wrong with either, but I voted [name_f]Willa[/name_f] because, I agree, [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is becoming more popular, making [name_f]Willa[/name_f] feel fresher. I think [name_f]Willa[/name_f] sounds just as happy and playful as [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and will age well, too.
Also, I really like [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_u]Atlas[/name_u], and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] together! I feel like [name_f]Willa[/name_f] nicely bridges the gap between ultra-classic ([name_u]James[/name_u]) and out-there ([name_u]Atlas[/name_u]).

I love Daisy! It seems so fresh and sweet! Girly but not cutesy. With Renee it’s perfect!
But, I think Willa goes better with James and Atlas. I do like Daisy with them but Daisy and James seem a little rhymy.

Yeah, I can’t decide which I like best all together. I think [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is a good bridge but I also like that with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], they all have an s sound.

James and [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] have quite different feels. [name_u]James[/name_u] is very traditional, whereas [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] is a lot more unusual. I voted [name_f]Willa[/name_f], because I think it would be a good bridge between the two, as it’s an unusual spin on a very familiar name.

I love both names, but with your surname (which you shared on another thread), I much prefer [name_f]Willa[/name_f]. Both names work with the brothers though.
