Help me decide between two names

One distinction that might help: [name_f]Nora[/name_f] began as a short form of [name_f]Honora[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], or [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f], and only later stood on its own, so [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] with [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as the everyday name follows the older pattern rather than a made-up one. [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] is the [name_m]English[/name_m] spelling of Italian [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f]. In [name_m]English[/name_m] it is usually said el-ee-uh-NOR-uh; in Italian it is closer to eh-leh-oh-NO-rah. Next to [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_f]Serena[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f] keeps the set short and even, while [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] makes [name_f]Serena[/name_f] the middle-length name. If [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is what you will actually say day to day, the longer form is optional.
