[name_f]Maple[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] & [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Mathias[/name_m]!
I voted [name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], which I love with [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Mathias[/name_m] - both are slightly unexpected but still familiar first names, paired with more traditional middle names.
I like [name_f]Coral[/name_f] too, but prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] to [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] as a middle name, so [name_f]Opal[/name_f] won out for me.
I voted for [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], but [name_f]Maple[/name_f] has really been growing on me lately.
I voted for [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is so pretty!
My least favourite is [name_f]Maple[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] as it makes me think of maple syrup
[name_f]Maple[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is lovely!
As an Aussie, I am particular to [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] myself (famous [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] being Australian [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_m]Montgomery[/name_m])…I just think [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is such a spunky name that I can picture a twin sister wearing well.
I speak from experience as I myself am a fraternal twin to a brother
I voted [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], second choice [name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]. You really can’t go wrong as they are all lovely names.
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is so sweet and beautiful. I would also like [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Maple[/name_f].
Well, it seems like [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is way ahead of all of the options. I wonder why?
Thank you all for taking the time to vote and comment. I have also just created my boys’ name poll so please, if you could just vote or comment there it would be lovely!
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]!
Why aren’t people voting for [name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]?!? It’s the most beautiful combo of all of these, warm, cosy, alluring, sweet. I love how the L is echoed in both names, I love the thought of [name_f]Coco[/name_f] or [name_f]Cora[/name_f] as nicknames, I love that it’s [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] and not [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], love seeing [name_f]Coral[/name_f] get some well-deserved love, everyone should vote for [name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]!
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is nice, but everyone loves [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], she feels super-mainstream to me. [name_f]Maple[/name_f] is quite clunky and heavy and flat, she has no rhythm. [name_f]Opal[/name_f] is my second favourite, but I think she needs something brighter sounding than [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] to really shine. [name_f]Opal[/name_f] also has bad rhythm (like [name_f]Maple[/name_f]) so she needs a middle that provides that, and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] kind of doesn’t.
Thank you for your words, I feel even more motivated to go with [name_f]Coral[/name_f]! In fact, the first combo I really loved and had that eureka moment with was [name_f]Coral[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] ([name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] was my grandmother’s name, so it is very meaningful to me). [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] was suggested to me by a couple of berries and it struck me as lovely, cheery and an all in all happy sounding name. I really liked that aspect of it. Now I’m on the fence between [name_f]Coral[/name_f] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], which now I’m really sure are my absolute favorites. [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is a name that for many years has been dear to me, also after someone special.
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]!
I would go with [name_f]Coral[/name_f] over [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], OP. Only because I know that sometimes kids call their fathers or grandfathers this.
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] kind of seems like a nickname, as well, so what if you used a longer name that got you the [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] nickname?
I love [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Opal[/name_f] and [name_f]Coral[/name_f]! I voted [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] because I prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] over [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]… But [name_f]Coral[/name_f], and [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], are really growing on me lately so I almost voted for it instead. I think [name_f]Opal[/name_f] is absolutely stunning as well! The only one I dislike is [name_f]Maple[/name_f].
In my mind they have pretty different vibes/feels to them:
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] - is bright, vibrant, bouncy, and energetic
[name_f]Coral[/name_f] - is smart, unique, classy, upscale and down to earth at the same time
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] - is dreamy, soft, introverted, ethereal
[name_f]Maple[/name_f] - is sugary sweet and grandmotherly
Good luck!
Thanks for specifying the different vibes you got from the names - [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Coral[/name_f] are no doubt my favorites. This indecisiveness is a pain in the ass!
