Not pregnant, but enjoy playing around with names. I have a son named [name_u]Liam[/name_u] and I’ve been trying to pair it with some girl options. I seem to be drawn to the EYE sound in names and have come up with [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_u]Briar[/name_u] and [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] that I really like. Which do you prefer? I also had [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] on the list but have gone off it a little bit. I’m not a huge fan of biblical names.

Isla is my favorite! Maybe you’d be into Lila as well? Delilah would probably not be used by most mainstream Christians if that helps (however, I myself, a Christian, view Delilah differently than the popular narrative and think she and the name deserve more acceptance, so I like the name Delilah).

Out of your names I prefer the name [name_u]Briar[/name_u]. So cute and pretty but also strong and feminine at the same time! I live the name [name_u]Briar[/name_u] for a girl! However, as beautiful as [name_u]Liam[/name_u] and [name_u]Briar[/name_u] sound together, I think [name_u]Liam[/name_u] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] sounds better!

. I don’t know if it makes a difference to any of you, but my mother is [name_u]Kay[/name_u] and I kind of like the idea of [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] to honour. I also love [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyra[/name_f], but no so much with [name_u]Liam[/name_u]. Husband also ruined [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] for me by saying everyone would call her “Lyra, [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] pants on fire” and now I can’t unhear that
