It´s official…our third baby due in February will be a boy. We have two girls Ma.ia who is 5 and [name_m]Zo[/name_m].e who is 3. I love their names. My husband and I like [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] but i don’t love them either. I am concerned that [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] will be mispronounced as ex-avier and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is getting really popular where i live.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any suggestions of short boy names that are easy to pronounce in english and french and are similar in style to my girl names?
I prefer [name_m]Felix[/name_m] to [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]! [name_m]How[/name_m] about:
[name_m]Robert[/name_m]
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_u]Maury[/name_u]
[name_m]Macaulay[/name_m]
But I suggest if you want a name to sound similar to your girls I would suggest [name_m]Miles[/name_m].
Well let’s see
You have 2 girls with silliest styles each name is 2 syllables beginning and ending in a different letter and sound making them the perfect amount if different and they manage a bit of similarity in their own way. [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] starts with the z sound and is longer so I would skip it, [name_m]Felix[/name_m] I think is perfect but if its common skip it and get something you love !!!
So avoiding Z & M in the beginning & ee and a for the end, maybe another 2 syllable in the same style xxx hmm , English & [name_m]French[/name_m]… You’ll have to forgive me if they don’t suit [name_m]French[/name_m]…
[name_m]Abner[/name_m]
[name_m]Abel[/name_m]
[name_u]Barrett[/name_u]
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m]
[name_m]Casper[/name_m]
[name_m]David[/name_m]
[name_m]Ephram[/name_m]
[name_m]Gavin[/name_m]
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m]
[name_m]Noam[/name_m]
[name_m]Orin[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m]
[name_m]Rupert[/name_m]
[name_m]Stewart[/name_m]
[name_m]Valor[/name_m]
[name_m]Warren[/name_m]
I love [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] go with it and educate people on pronunciation.
Otherwise, names of little boys that I know who are bilingual:
