Help me find a name!

To start off, I really really dislike the name [name]Tallulah[/name].

But, on the other hand, I like [name]Daphne[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], and [name]Alice[/name]. Although, I don’t like how popular they are becoming.

As for a boy, I like the name [name]Liam[/name], but not how popular it is becoming. I also like the name [name]Seamus[/name], but dislike how it could be perceived as me trying to be too Irish (I am not at all Irish, but my husband has some Irish roots). We both really like [name]Cassius[/name], and probably [name]Cass[/name] as a nickname to avoid any teasings. We’ve kind of decided on [name]Cassius[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name], but I feel uneasy about [name]Charlotte[/name]. Finally, the last boys name that I really like is [name]Sascha[/name] (pronounced like [name]Sasha[/name]).

Is there any recommendations for names similar to the ones I’ve listed as names I like?? I really prefer names not in the top 100. I do like older style names for girls, but not necessarily for boys. I don’t know, I guess I just want a name that fits my husband and I’s style. Our nursery theme will be Totoro, if that helps any!

[name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Liam[/name] are in the top 5 of their respective categories, if not #1 in each. (I think [name]Liam[/name] is #1 boys’ name. [name]Charlotte[/name] is something like 2 or 3 if it’s not 1.)

I’m not a fan of [name]Cassius[/name]. Too [name]Greco[/name]-[name]Roman[/name] for my tastes. However, I adore [name]Charlotte[/name].

[name]Love[/name] [name]Sascha[/name], especially spelled properly with the ‘sch’ for a boy.

If you want names outside the top 100, you’re probably going to have to re-think [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Liam[/name], and [name]Alice[/name]. All of those are in the top 100.

[name]Sean[/name] (instead of [name]Seamus[/name]?)

I really love [name]Liam[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name]! They are very popular though. If you don’t mind that, then go ahead. They are gorgeous names. I don’t care for [name]Cass[/name] as a nickname for a boy. It seems very feminine. So does [name]Sascha[/name]. I know it can be a boys name, but it seems more girl to me. I also love [name]Daphne[/name] and [name]Alice[/name]. [name]Daphne[/name] is one of my current favorites. Here are a few suggestions:

[name]Sean[/name] (instead of [name]Seamus[/name]?) - I know a [name]Sean[/name], and he kind of ruined the name for me, he is so country that I just associate the name with hillbillies, honestly
[name]Westley[/name] - I’m not a fan of the [name]Wesley[/name] family of names
[name]Neal[/name] - I think it is all right, but I know a druggie by this name
[name]Kallen[/name] - I don’t follow the rut of names used by who I called preps, and this screams prep
[name]Shea[/name] - This name sounds very feminine to be a boys name, otherwise, I don’t necessarily like it, sorry!
Greyden/Grayden - Again, prep.
[name]Alton[/name] - again, prep
[name]Luc[/name] - I prefer [name]Luca[/name], and even then, I wouldn’t use it because I had a bad relationship with a [name]Lucas[/name]
[name]Cian[/name] - I like this name, but my husband doesn’t
[name]Caius[/name] - I like this name also, but I don’t really want to pick out a bunch of Greek-based names, obviously, my favorite is [name]Cassius[/name]
[name]Aurelius[/name] - It reminds me of [name]Aurora[/name]
[name]Cyrus[/name] - [name]Billy[/name] [name]Ray[/name]/[name]Miley[/name]
[name]Demetrius[/name] - Again, the Greek comment
[name]Marcus[/name] - I really don’t like this name
[name]Marius[/name] - I prefer this to [name]Marcus[/name], but not a whole lot more
[name]Augustine[/name] - The -ine makes it sound feminine (ex. [name]Justine[/name]), and even without the feminine connotation, I would rather use [name]August[/name] as a girls name

[name]Estella[/name] - I really don’t understand the [name]Stella[/name] craze lately, and I would put this under the [name]Stella[/name] craze.
[name]Annette[/name] - The husband doesn’t like -ette ending names, although I do like this name
[name]Renata[/name] - Maybe a little too out there for me
[name]Annabell[/name] - I know an [name]Annabell[/name], I love her name, but would feel like I’m copying her if I named a girl [name]Annabell[/name]
[name]Mariela[/name] - I like [name]Muriel[/name], and [name]Mariel[/name] is pretty too, but for some reason, the a at the end throws me off
[name]Magdalena[/name] - I considered telling my husband I liked this name once, but then put it off because the g/d combo is kind of weird for me
[name]Melinda[/name] - I prefer [name]Belinda[/name]
[name]Belinda[/name] - I kind of like this name, it reminds me of Charmed. I believe the ancestor was [name]Belinda[/name]. Although, I like [name]Piper[/name] from Charmed more than [name]Belinda[/name]
[name]Blair[/name] - I’m not a fan of [name]Blair[/name]/[name]Clair[/name] names
[name]Christiana[/name]/[name]Christianna[/name] - sorry, just not for me
[name]Audrianna[/name] - I prefer [name]Audrey[/name] and [name]Anna[/name] separated
[name]Analise[/name]/[name]Annaliese[/name]/[name]Anneliese[/name]/[name]Annalise[/name]/[name]Annelise[/name] - I love this name, but believe it is too long with too many syllables. Maybe [name]Ann[/name] [name]Elise[/name] would be better
[name]Vivien[/name] - I prefer the name Vixy, although it is the name of the female fox in The [name]Fox[/name] and the Hound
[name]Colette[/name] - I used to love this name, but then I thought about it too much
[name]Emmaline[/name]/[name]Emeline[/name]/[name]Emmeline[/name] - I like the name [name]Emmeline[/name], a lot, but don’t like the nn [name]Em[/name] or [name]Emma[/name]
[name]Lidia[/name] - I know a [name]Lydia[/name] that I don’t necessarily like
Lillyanna - You know, I like this name, but I don’t like how popular each are.
[name]Vivianna[/name] - I tried to convince my husband to like [name]Luciana[/name], to no avail. I don’t like this name.
[name]Evangelina[/name] - I prefer [name]Evangeline[/name], but don’t like it for the same reasons I don’t like [name]Anneliese[/name].
[name]Bonnie[/name] - This reminds me so much of [name]Kim[/name] Possible
[name]Lucinda[/name] - too old-lady for me
[name]Cordelia[/name] - I like the references it has, but I don’t like the sound of the name.
[name]Bridgette[/name] - I’m not a fan of [name]Bridget[/name], or any other spelling (I do know a Bridgid)
[name]Gwen[/name] - I do like [name]Gwen[/name], so does my husband.
[name]Geneva[/name] - I prefer [name]Ginevra[/name], but wouldn’t use either of them.
[name]Nadine[/name] - it makes me think of a promiscuous girl
[name]Rosalyn[/name] - I like [name]Rosalie[/name] more, but wouldn’t use [name]Rosalie[/name] because of Twilight
[name]Linnea[/name] - just not for me
[name]Analeigh[/name] - I personally don’t like leigh names
[name]Eleni[/name] - not for me
[name]Lourdes[/name] - it is pretty, but too Spanish sounding, I don’t want to seem pretentious
[name]Lisette[/name] - again, the ette ending, I like it, though
[name]Annamarie[/name] - [name]Marie[/name] is such a filler lately, I don’t like it
[name]Annalisa[/name] - I prefer [name]Annaliese[/name]
[name]Lynette[/name] - not a fan
[name]Violette[/name]/[name]Violetta[/name] - not a fan
[name]Imogen[/name] - I told my husband I liked this name, and he shot it down
