Help me forget this name!

I’ve become fond of the name [name_u]Jamie[/name_u]. Thing is, I don’t feel fuzzies about this spelling- I feel like it’s missing something.

The problem with [name_u]Jaime[/name_u] is while I like this spelling better, [name_u]Jaime[/name_u] is my brother-in-law’s name (pronounced the Hispanic way). [name_f]Do[/name_f] I completely forget this name or are there any other alternatives?

[name_f]My[/name_f] 2 cents is that changing the spelling of a name to something custom or different forces your child into a life of correcting everyone on their name’s spelling. Which isn’t horrible, but it’s tedious.

I have a friend who is a girl and her name is spelled [name_u]Jamie[/name_u], there were about 6 [name_u]Jamie[/name_u]'s in our year at school and she was the only female one, it never bothered her, she likes her name and also goes by the nickname [name_u]Jay[/name_u].

You could also try to change the spelling but I prefer it spelled [name_u]Jamie[/name_u]

Oh no no no, this isn’t for a real child just a hypothetical situation
I reaaaally doubt i could ever name a child after my brother-in-law (he’s great but still. no)

I just like the name [name_u]Jamie[/name_u]. I don’t like the [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] spelling so I wondered if there was a different but still valid spelling that’s not [name_u]Jaime[/name_u]?

I used to know a girl named J@imee, but most Berries would consider that too “kreeatyv”.

I don’t like the name, sorry
