Help me get a boy's list

[name_m]Just[/name_m] found out our second bub (and most likely final baby because I do not like being pregnant) is a boy  [name_m]Boy[/name_m] names, in my opinion, are a lot trickier than girls and so I need some ideas!

I have some names on my list already but looking for more ideas. 99% sure middle name will be [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m], after family

[name_m]Arlo[/name_m] (probably my current fave)
[name_m]Brody[/name_m] (our last name ends in y with the ‘ee’ sound so not sure any similar ending first names will work)

I’m also unsure about A names. Both hubby and my name start with A, but our daughter starts with V and it feels weird going with another A but I don’t want to rule them out.

Big sister is [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]!

Congratulations on your exciting news
Some ideas based on the great names that you like:

[name_f]Marlo[/name_f] (Marlow/Marlowe)
[name_f]Reese[/name_f] (Rhys, Reece)

Good luck with your search :four_leaf_clover:

I really adore [name_m]Arlo[/name_m] with [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but I do love [name_m]Jude[/name_m] and [name_m]Reid[/name_m] as well. I don’t think having an A name is a no-go, as they will call you mom and dad.

Congratulations, and I love your daughter’s name. The list you already have for your son is great. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], [name_m]Ellis[/name_m], [name_m]Jude[/name_m], & [name_m]Reid[/name_m]. I would also hesitate to use an A name, since your daughter would be the only one without.

First of all, your daughter has a gorgeous name.

Most of your possibilities for a boy sound amazing with [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. Considering your daughter’s name and the middle name, my favorites are [name_m]Arlo[/name_m], [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] and [name_m]Phoenix[/name_m].

I don’t think it is a big deal if your daughter is the only one with a different initial, as long as you deeply love your children’s names.

Hi! Violet Genevieve is gorgeous!

For brother:

Koby Lincoln isn’t quite the same vein for me. I also prefer Coby spelling.
Ari seems incomplete with Violet.
Lennox Lincoln- I like certain names with alliteration. This one isn’t terrible but not my fave.
Patrick Lincoln- Normally, I will choose the rarest name on a list just because I like uncommon names. However, Patrick Lincoln is too stately to deny and a perfect sib to sis.
Arlo- I like the name. Don’t love the flow w Lincoln. BUT, mn aren’t used that often and your feelings on the fn matter a lot.
Jude- Great choice.
Ellis- Love the name. I like the name over Patrick but the flow isn’t quite as good here with -lis going into Lincoln. I’m super picky, though, about flow.
Xander- Good flow. Strong name.
Phoenix- I like it! Not the best flow in the group but not bad.
Reid- A solid, safe choice.
Brody- I’d eliminate for reason you suggested.

Ideas- Violet Genevieve &

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite out of your list is [name_m]Xander[/name_m]. [name_m]Xander[/name_m] [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] sounds like a strong pairing to me.
