I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]McCoy[/name_m]!!! I really think all of your options are good ones though. But [name_m]McCoy[/name_m] is my favorite!!!
I like [name_m]Callen[/name_m], [name_m]Merrick[/name_m], and [name_m]McCoy[/name_m] best but I don’t care for the nicknames so I voted for [name_m]Declan[/name_m] because of the nn [name_m]Dax[/name_m]. I guess I’m one of those that would choose a name I love and then call him that :). If you will be using a nickname then I would choose the name by that because that is how he will be known. [name_u]Carlisle[/name_u] would make a handsome middle name.
I like all of these: [name_m]Declan[/name_m] ([name_m]Dax[/name_m]), [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], [name_m]Callen[/name_m] ([name_u]Cal[/name_u]). I think (esp with the nicknames) they all fit the vibe you’re going for, without trying too hard. I also love the idea of [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] from your sig. Goes so well with [name_u]Jameson[/name_u].
Of the M names, I like [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] the best, just don’t love ‘[name_f]Merri[/name_f]’. 
Tough call, I could have voted for [name_m]Dax[/name_m], [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], or [name_u]Cal[/name_u], but in the end I went with [name_u]Cal[/name_u]. Good luck!
Thanks!! I think I am leaning towards [name_m]Declan[/name_m]. [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] usually just gets called [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], but [name_u]Jem[/name_u] is the nickname we came up with for it, to give it the literary twist I wanted. Some people use [name_u]Jem[/name_u], some [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]. I am guessing the next will be similar. My family just hates the name which is why I hesitate.
I really love [name_m]Callen[/name_m], it’s probable second to [name_m]Declan[/name_m]. But I feel like it Is white noise among all of the Callums, Kellens, Kellers, Calders, etc.
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] I like but sounds like phlem to me. Otherwise I’d use it in a heartbeat.
I [name_u]Love[/name_u] all of the M names but they don’t seem to match in style with [name_u]Jameson[/name_u].
Same with [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]. It seems too ‘wild’ next to [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]. Though I do love the [name_f]Laura[/name_f] Ingalls connection. I also can’t see any good nicknames to match [name_u]Jem[/name_u]. Maybe [name_m]Will[/name_m]?

I like [name_m]Dax[/name_m], but love [name_m]Dex[/name_m]! (I would use it as a nn for [name_u]Dexter[/name_u], but it would also work with [name_m]Declan[/name_m].)
[name_m]Maverick[/name_m] and [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] are both great, but I don’t think they need official nns.
[name_m]McCoy[/name_m]/[name_m]Coy[/name_m] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] are good too!
[name_u]Cal[/name_u] is one of my favorite names and there are so many great full names it could be used for! [name_m]Callum[/name_m], [name_m]Callahan[/name_m], [name_m]Calvin[/name_m], [name_m]Calloway[/name_m]…or [name_m]Callan[/name_m] works too!

I think it suits all those requirements you listed (although my surfer image is more LA cop, thanks to NCIS: LA), although I prefer the [name_m]Callan[/name_m] spelling. I think [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] and [name_m]Callen[/name_m]/[name_m]Callan[/name_m] are great together! I also love [name_m]Declan[/name_m] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], and think any of those three would be perfection. I think I actually prefer [name_m]Declan[/name_m] to [name_m]Callen[/name_m], so I’m not sure why [name_m]Callen[/name_m] got my vote. I guess I just fancied it in the moment.
